6300 leicester fans are coming, and coming for one reason, their aspirations are high. I see them as West Ham were last season. WHU thought they wouldn't go down because on paper they shouldn't have. They still have 3 England players in their set up because no one wants them. OK leicester have signed big but at over the top prices. If they don't perform this season you think people will pay £5million for Mills? They think because they have rich owners and big team they will walk this league. I listened to the radio during the week and very few people think leicester will go up, me included.
We have absolutely nothing to lose today. We can go out and enjoy it. I think AT will have them playing a passing game and if we can stamp ourselves on the game early we should be able to hold them off.
I just have a sneaking feeling about this one and I predict we will get a win.
If you look at who they've signed, the likes of Dave 'No Goals' Nugent & John '6 Own Goals in One Season' Pantsil, albeit both of those on a free, but I can see their wages being sky high. Matt Mills for 5mil. Yes he's a good players, not outstanding by all means. Sean St. Ledger , I was talking to some Leicester fans and they were taking the piss because we signed someone from a relegated team. Again with Sean, he's not outstanding, he's above average.
Now, if they don't get promoted this season, they will go in to administration. There is no way they will make over 10million turnover this season to comply with the new League rules.
The first reason I think we will win is because Leshtur have bought a brand new team. This could take a fair while to gel and click together. I think they may well lack the cohesion and spirit of a pre-bonded squad such as ourselves.
The second reason is that I think the underdog tag suits us. My only worry today is that our side doesn't scream out 'goals' at you. If we do indeed win I think it will be by the odd goal.
Stadium naming rights will cover the initial spending spree. Man City have got round it in the same way. I think there are three years until this golden goose lands at the Ricoh.Lets hope next time the club own Some of it!
"Play up Sky Blues"
Good luck CCFC on the field. If we don't win at least the pressure will be mounting on SISU. If the bookies are right and we do start to look like relegation favorites that will only strenghten the hand on bidding parties looking take on CCFC. Lets hope we get decent owners next time around. Our non achieving has gone on too long. Still can't help hoping we stuff Leicester however.
There back four is the only area I fear them. We can more and hold our own against a front three of Nugent, Gallagher and Vassell, that really does not strike any fear in me whatsoever. There midfield is good, but nothing special. The area where they look superb is at the back, but they could play 4 new signings there today and it's the hardest part of the pitch to gel and get right.
I deeply want to believe that we can win and I know football is "a funny old game" but I am going to the game with a real sense of foreboding. I just hope we don't get hammered, play some nice football and above all else don't pick up injuries. Injuries are going to be key this season with such a small squad - how much hope if Sammy and Juke get knocks? God its depressing - thanks SISU.

I am certainly not depressed before a single ball has even been kicked in anger!
Got a sneaky feeling that if Baker plays he may well have a stormer. The guy plays brilliantly once in every 5 games or so and I get the feeling this could be his day if selected. Also think Clingan playing well is absolutely key to our fortunes.
