We have been experiencing the worst period in our history over several years and it now is going to get potentially worse
Playing before 4000- 5000 fans
The playing budget will no doubt be reduced
The manager and some of the players like the fans deciding at some point soon enough is enough
Why will these people not sell up? they can still continue there legals - why are they making the fans suffer more and more - It will get to the point that any sale will be worthless

The council want them to sell to a more compliant owner who will let the club be milked and manipulated. Once the new owners realise what’s happened the cycle will start again. Until the club are in a position where the council have no influence over us things won’t ever change.

Unless there are potential buyers willing to purchase us, what is the point of SISU putting the club up for sale? Who do you think will make an offer?

Not many people will like this but actually, unless there is someone who is going to step in with millions and millions to throw at the club and take us back to the top of the championship or premier league, I am not sure I really would like new owners?

In the last couple of months my opinions have really changed. I actually never really had a problem with the break even strategy because what's the point in getting into crazy amounts of debt? If a club can be ran sustainably and still compete then that's a good thing. With the recent revelations about what actually went on and what the Council and London Wasps need to answer for, then SISUs biggest fault is having a shit relationship with the fans, and not having a clue about how to run a football club. The former seems to be less of an issue as they are doing a better PR job and have released information which if they released years ago would have probably stopped some of the froth, and the latter...well they've started to employ people who do know and giving them autonomy to run the club.

So what's the problem? They don't love the club but they want to make it successful for financial reasons? Fine by me. They won't throw millions at the club? This is the case for 95% of the football league.

Better the devil you know i'd say

With respect ccfcway, why do you believe there would be "plenty of suitors" willing to buy us? We don't own or even have a ground anymore and we only have a big fanbase when we get to Wembley or draw Chelsea at home in the FA Cup. The whole reason Man City's fortunes changed is because they acquired that brand new stadium after the 2002 Commonwealth Games. It made the football club a viable commodity, which we just aren't.

And the way forward is to bend over backwards to get a deal with a London rugby club with even less regard for its fan base?

IMO SISU are actually sticking up for the club here,I’d be more worried about those looking to do a deal with Wasps regardless.

Point is whatever sisu have done is reversible, what the council and wasps have done isn’t.

I’d also suggest that Brian Richardson, Robinson et al are much worse owners as they were big causes of the initial situation we were in

The club doesn’t need to be up for sale for someone to put a worthy offer in. And as for the total lack of regard for this club, community and fans well, the council has done all those things tenfold and irreversibly.

When you look at the effort Duggins was putting into an Aldi closing compared to CCFC staying in the city.

The football club is very salable. That golden share is worth money. New owners would almost certainly be back at the Ricoh. New owners with a little extra cash (unlike Hofman's consortium) would be able to offer WASP a tempting offer for some ownership or an owner with say 60 to 70m could probably buy up WASP, CCFC and the 250 year stadium lease all in one tbf. There ought to be plenty of suitors with that kind of money to get the full job done surely? CCFC is a club capable of sustaining itself in the premier league. SISU and WASP tinker on the edge of debt which means someone with some cash can get a super deal if they really think about it. In football club terms these days it's less than buying a wing back at Newcastle. Look at Leicester, from administration to premier league winners and a number of players alone worth more than 5 or 10 times what it would take to buy up this sorry sad lot. Why is there no such person or consortium with that line of thinking? There's consent for another hotel, there's a casino, hotel, events halls. Potentially a bloody goldmine in the right hands.

In its current state, what’s it actually worth ?. Buttons. If it was up for sale for buttons, I might be wrong, but there would be suitors who think they could come in, run the club at break even and start to turn the tide.

Would new owners mean we could talk to the butts. . Would new owners mean we would be back at Ricoh ?, etc etc.

As many have pointed out, it doesn’t matter. Sisu would want a Ferrari price to walk away and they own a 20 year old fiesta
