Indeed, but who's going to buy an ailing rugby club?...We have been experiencing the worst period in our history over several years and it now is going to get potentially worse
Playing before 4000- 5000 fans
The playing budget will no doubt be reduced
The manager and some of the players like the fans deciding at some point soon enough is enough
Why will these people not sell up? they can still continue there legals - why are they making the fans suffer more and more - It will get to the point that any sale will be worthless
The council want them to sell to a more compliant owner who will let the club be milked and manipulated. Once the new owners realise what’s happened the cycle will start again. Until the club are in a position where the council have no influence over us things won’t ever change. We have been experiencing the worst period in our history over several years and it now is going to get potentially worse

Because nobody has made them an offer they deem acceptable. Why will these people not sell up?

what is the point of SISU putting the club up for sale? Who do you think will make an offer?
The club is worth what SISU are willing to accept.A) what’s the point - because they don’t care about the club
B) I suspect there would be plenty of suitors.
Sadly B doesn’t matter as no offer would be what SISU would want for the club, which is considerably more than what it’s worth

Because there is nothing of any value to sell - thanks to the council and wasps connivances. We have been experiencing the worst period in our history over several years and it now is going to get potentially worse

Unless you are a fan we are literally the last club in the country anyone would buy.I suspect there would be plenty of suitors.
Why not put the club up for sale and put it to the test? With respect ccfcway, why do you believe there would be "plenty of suitors" willing to buy us? We don't own or even have a ground anymore and we only have a big fanbase when we get to Wembley or draw Chelsea at home in the FA Cup. The whole reason Man City's fortunes changed is because they acquired that brand new stadium after the 2002 Commonwealth Games. It made the football club a viable commodity, which we just aren't.
Why not put the club up for sale and put it to the test?
Over a number of threads now, there has been a “sanitising” of Sisu and the things that they have done. They are without doubt the worst owners that this club has ever had and by some distance too. They continue to hold onto the club and use it as a pawn in their power battles with the council and with Wasps. Because of them and the huge part that they have played in this fiasco, yes, along with Wasps and CCC, the life is being squeezed out of our club.
The problem isn’t their policy of self-sustainability. It is their total lack of regard for this club, for the community it serves and for the fans. This is bourne out by their actions which have in the past and which continue to cause serious damage to our club.
Point is whatever sisu have done is reversible, what the council and wasps have done isn’t.Why not put the club up for sale and put it to the test?

The club doesn’t need to be up for sale for someone to put a worthy offer in. And as for the total lack of regard for this club, community and fans well, the council has done all those things tenfold and irreversibly. Why not put the club up for sale and put it to the test?

Can you genuinely please bullet point the things they have done that you’re talking about that make them the worst? Honestly interestedOver a number of threads now, there has been a “sanitising” of Sisu and the things that they have done. Haven’t the council and wasps shown at least the same disregard for the club, the community it serves and the fans? Why not put the club up for sale and put it to the test?

There was a Hoffman deal on the table recently reported at an offer of up to 20 million which was turned down - nothing has changed in terms of what we ownBecause there is nothing of any value to sell - thanks to the council and wasps connivances.
Wasps should show some regard for the community, but I take your point.Wasps you could say don't need to, the council however is a different story.
When you look at the effort Duggins was putting into an Aldi closing compared to CCFC staying in the city.
The offer was probably contingent on Julian Gray remaining at the club. There was a Hoffman deal on the table recently reported at an offer of up to 20 million which was turned down - nothing has changed in terms of what we own

No. Ideally A mad man comes in with billions and buys the Ricoh and kicks Wasps out.Plenty of Suitors? We have no stadium... what you actually want is Hoffman to come in and allow us to get shafted by Wasps
Ideally a mad man comes in with billions and builds us our own stadium
Yes that's the one the same one that lives and breaths Cov City and is probably one of our only genuine hopes to get out of this mess eventually - Even top businessmen like him cannot negotiate a deal if the other party will not even speakWas there? The Hoffman who was recently reported to be backed by a wealthy rugby club owner?

Well we do all know the amount Sisu apparently want for the club is ridiculously and unrealistically high. Why can't he negotiate a deal?
