Is there a potential for a points deduction ?

There is no precedence for that. Brighton were allowed to play in Gillingham, Rotherham played in Sheffield, we played in Northamption and Bristol Rovers spent several years in Bath. The only circumstances where we might face sanctions is if the EFL are not satisfied that the club are working to a plan to return beyond next season.

Depends if you call having to have a chemical shower when you get home from Birmingham, a punishment or not.
