As I said on another thread, the reason the FA won't employ the method used in Rugby, which is so simple , straight forward and obvious, is because they want to develop a method exclusive to football...which they think will improve on the system. Crazy right...already a total shambles! So will they be using it on Monday? Personally I think it's too soon as the 'exclusive' system clearly isn't reliable. Goal line technology is good though and a must!
The system isn’t ready to be rolled out; I’d rather not be part of the ‘experiment’ and just stick with good old fashioned officials (as long as it’s not the first leg’s ref!!)
Anyone seen who the official in the middle is going to be?
Yep someone posted the one for this the other day.
I think it may have been you.
Whoever it is his stats for the season didn't alarm, something like 93yellows and three reds?
Just to confirm referee is David Webb
From Lancashire ,nothing controversial AFAIK.
94 yellows 3reds over 46 games
Av 2yellows per game
1game producing 2reds and a few with 3yellows 1with 4..
Game should flow hopefully.
