Good Morning.
I think the answer to the question is a resounding "No Chance"
the revolving door, no longer revolves, its firmly jammed in one way traffic mode, and its my belief that there will be more players exiting than entering, as the fire sale continues at the Ricoh.
people are putting up very coherent reasons for the lack of transfer activity, and you cant argue with most of them, but the fact is we are a club in terminal decline if nothing is done to arrest the excellerating plunge into obscurity in which we now find ourselves, "doing nothing is not an option" this death dealing wound won't self heal, like some think it will.
Early Morning Rant over.........Thanks.....Tank Top..
We will. They may not be high profile or names we know much about, but I'm confident that a budget albeit small and limited will be available.
I know we all hate SISU and the board, but they are business people and I'm sure some of them at least have an understanding of the essential tools the manager requires to have any hope of performing. Otherwise it's the financial equivalent of being expected to run faster than Usain Bolt with one leg.
Delieu has asked the fans to "give the new board a chance" - I think this could be it and if there's no inward activity before both windows close then that chance will have passed imo
Be very surprised if we bring anyone in. The only way I see it happening is if we sell the likes of Turner, but even then SISU are in that much shit Andy may not see a penny of the money. We have the Scott Dann deal as well, but I think that is same, we won't use the money on players
