It’s not about Wilson is it, it’s the other end that’s costing us victories and the annoying thing is we could have done something better about it in the January window, Gorkeyes what has that been about ? He is just here filling the subs bench, never comes on.despite having a centre forward who can’t score for toffee. Who is responsible for that, the manager for signing him ? or the owner for not releasing extra money to bring in better than what we had ? or a combination of the two ?
Relegation which I thought was unlikely beckons, missing chances every game has consequences. In fairness to Wilson yes he has limitations and we need better but has his errors cost us that many points, Luton yes but there were bad misses before they scored their first, can’t think of many more.

Thought Stockdale played well for Wycombe, came out quick, controlled area and beyond, long kick (doesn't fit with our style of playing out the back)...but would he have saved us a few points this season, had we signed him?

Haven’t seen enough of him to tell. He’s certainly better than Wilson but then again so is Marosi so who knows whether Robins would have even picked him

Well why would Robins answer that question when all it would do is undermine Wilson's confidence? What sort of manager would that make him?

Clearly though if Marosi was fit he would be playing ahead of Wilson.

I do a lot of work with goalkeepers & yes, they are instructed to raise their knee to protect themselves but not fully stretch out your leg with studs showing like that! He got penalised for it v Rotherham & was lucky he didn't make contact today.

Three weeks a go everyone was saying Wilson was better than Marosi and we should get rid of Marosi.
this place is so fickle and why is it when we win there are half the people on it but when we lose or draw to the likes of Wycombe we sudenly get twice as many posts and from members you dont see posing on here for months.

Have you ever thought we dont have the extra money needed that you say should have been released.
we needed cover for a striker as we had three out injured long term.
unless you have a couple of million then you arnt signing a proven championship striker and if clubs have such a striker they dont want to release them or let them go cheap.

we are a first division team who got promoted. Most teams that come up go straight back down again. It says something about how unrealistic people are on here when they were talking about the playoffs before the season started.
if we manage to survive this year then MR has done a fantastic job and if we go down well its like most teams over the years and the test is then how we respond to it next season to build and get back up

I dont care what everyone else says. Marosi was and always will be the better keeper. The warning signs have been there with Wilson for weeks. It’s baffling that he’s still playing

Not saying we should be spending out on transfer fees. Compared to what we will lose financially should we get relegated extra funds to pay a better loan for six months shouldn’t have broken the bank of an owner who’s company has milked millions from in coming transfer fees for years, add it up and don’t forget the Callum Wilson recent bonus. and also don’t forget financial hit pathetically moving to Birmingham my estimate is about £200k a game.

I don't know why Tyler Walker wasnt playing for the 30 minutes he was on the pitch either? Waste of a substitution.

Everyone saying Wilson was better than Marosi was being a moron, he never has been and never will be. Anyone who still thinks it now needs taking to a padded cell.

It is upto these better strikers to stake a claim though. I have never said Max Biamou is good enough for this level. But at least he is getting in scoring positions and offers something defensively.

I don't know about Marosi? Havent seem him train since his horrific injury. Saw him in one game and he didn't look right. Even before the injury, I didnt think he looked rock solid at this level

Well I don't think either of them command there 6 yd box ,for me you need communication from your keeper to stop players drifting out of position in the defensive areas they have,again the CB should be also the talker .
Wilson, marosi there's plenty of views on this forum on who should be in the team I think if the 2 of them were in the same team it would still be a shambles in certain games.they both lack concentration at certain points of games.Not against the likes of Brentford's but that can be said for the whole team.

Not really. I've said for a long while that Wilson wasn't up to it, plenty of others the same

I would have probably hooked Wilson a couple of games back ....Robins didn't ......I'll be surprised if he doesn't start after keeping a clean sheet tbh. Only way Marosi will come back in goal tomorrow is if he is electric in training and Wilson horrific I don't see that occuring.

You either have a short memory or have very little knowledge about football if you think Marosi is ‘complete shite’. How much of last season did you see?

Marosi was outstanding in 19/20 and one of the cornerstones in our promoted. Wilson is of a similar stature to Burge, perhaps even worse. It’s ludicrous that he’s still in the team.
