At long last we have 'a local hero'. Someone who can progress and be an asset for the team. Hopefully, with SP's record of using youths at Falkirk we will see some of the academy coming through. Well done Callum

The goal was great, but he looked threatening other times too and had some lovely touches that could have led to goals for others. Last I knew he was a speed merchant, so this is an eye-opener. Hopefully he's played his way into real contention.

Still looks raw to me.

Great goal and some good work but also seems a little bit lacking in savvyness at times.

Definitely an option from the bench, but it would put a lot of weight on his shoulders if we were expecting him to bring the goals in Leon's absence.

Just wondering if the club would consider giving Clarke painkilling injections until the end of the season. We really do need him.

Let's hope that he gets support from fans at games if he makes mistakes.
Remember Ben Turner getting stick early in his first team career with us and it really doesn't help.

Looking forward to seeing more of Callum for us in a city shirt.

Yep. Would be great if he could become a first team regular.

Yeah he's a good footballer and always has been, I went to school with him and I played football with him he just made me look silly at times, great lad with some talent we have here!

Also how great would it be to have a good few of the first team made up from home grown players so to say.

Yeah I'd keep using him in a similar way to last night rather than have him start the next game, say. He reportedly looked a handful in the JPT leg at Crewe too so it's certainly encouraging. Always nice to have someone come through too.

He's a winger but I wouldn't say he's like walcott.

I weren't sure on him at Crewe, thought he looked lost and like someone else said, a bit raw.

But he looked much better last night. He made a difference because he was so positive and played without fear. Something we desperately need, particularly at home!

Yes he played well, but at the end of the day he's just a kid. He's like 19 years old, he has hardly played for us and its his first goal for the first team. He looks like a good prospect but we need to hold our expectations here. Hopefully he will be the next Leon Clarke but we have to remember over players who we thought would be great like Jermain Grandison. We thought he would be greta, but now he's playing at Shrewsbury Town. I think he can be a great player but dont expect to much from this kid, cus it cud all go wrong, but he's a new option

There's 14 points difference between us and Shrewsbury Town, it's hardly 'where are they now?' stuff.

You know what i mean tho. Everyone was saying he'll be a PL star someday, he's even lower than us now. What im saying is even tho he's a good prospect, dont expect too much from the kid

Are you sure people were saying that about Grandison?

I was impressed with Wilson last night for the period of time he was on. Looked hungry and willing. Scored a good game and is a nuisance. More of that please. Need to bred him in though.
