Personally I don't think it's starting 11 that would be the difference maker in terms of players kept. It would be the bench/reserves, which would be incredibly strong now. The likes of Mifsud, Tabb, Doyle, Marshall (back-up GK), Sears, Hines, Van Aaanholt, Cork (of course the last 4 are only there if you include loanee's, but I've been always been confused why we never try to put a 'with view to permanent deal clause in there'). They would all be welcome additions and would give us the depth to keep rotation good, players fresh and competition for places at a high so the players perform!
