Anyone who thinks we would win promotion from the play offs this season is seriously deluded.
The team is weak. Defence: slow and mistake prone; the midfield is in disarray and the forwards, without Clarke and, possibly Baker in the run in, would have little chance IMO.

The question about the last 5 or 6 years is why? To what end? Yes the rent is still too high for a new owner, but that, like everything else, is negotiable TO THE RIGHT BUYER!
Which assertion do you quibble with? Defence, midfield or attack?I hope you don't have anything sharp close to hand! Possibly the most miserable post I've ever stumbled upon.
I do get what you're saying and don't mean to belittle that comment but by what you're sayin, ACL won't negotiate further with our current owners yet might do with potential owners who currently sit in the figment of many peoples imaginations. That'll save the club....
WM
At the risk of being called miserable again, I honestly cannot remember the last good performance at home. Tranmere 2 months ago?And we still remain unbeaten under pressley, i admit the performance on saterday wasnt the best but at least we are still giving it a go..
Sorry WM but potential investors are much more real than a figment of the imagination
Come on Jan. tell us more. Is it just on consortium? Have you been talking to them? SBT and all that?
I accidentally click the latter option... I meant the first option!

I guess that was merely bluster.
Why would they liquidate? If their is a buyer waiting in the wings they could sell and recoup some money. If they liquidate what would they get?
Sometimes you just have to accept the mistakes you have made in your life and move on.
Avoid Admin & keep Sisu for chance of promotion this year.......simples not surprised to see vote beginning to swing back this way just surprised it around 50-50 at the mo!
Thanks. Happy for the support ! It won't make much difference though, you'll be voting for admin when you've read the positive stuff about people wanting to buy the club.
You would know a lot about that!
I want us playing Championship football ASAP, not lingering in the same league as the likes of Crawley, fun as a one of. Also got few bets we get playoffs and finish ahead of Brentford, so admin will feck that up.
More importantly though, there is no guarantee a buyer would be found, moreover, who's to say they won't be any better than SISU? Surely if these potential investors had the capital, why would they need to wait till admin? Also, factor in this, there's been 2 separate parties looking to invest in CCFC at around the same time as SISU, and they pulled out, finances, linked to RICOH rent and other things and directly to to owning the stadium.
Why make a threat if it is one that cannot be taken seriously?
It is a starting point. Nobody knows do they? SISU have given us little in the form of success so they are no worse than owners in the previous 20 years. We need success under any owner so a new one sticks just as much chance in my opinion.
If you could get a business at a knock down price would you invest some of the spare in to the club? Why would anyone pay more for the club than they have to?
What would you define as a knock down price? A club that has very few tangible assets, unsustainable rent and is losing money would, in my opinion, have very little value.
Not forgetting that SISU have refused to sell to takeover attempts in the past.
Hoffman et al. SISU didn't want to sell so they withdrew.
