until that happens it dosent matter who we have as manager, we will continue to decay and gradually slide down the leagues.

wait till january when weve sold Juke etc and it gets a lot worse.

i can gurantee you our squad will be weaker in 6 weeks time than it is now, a hell of a lot weaker, cant blame the manager for that.

Get rid of Thorn, I personally am sick of hearing this. We have team of kids and mainly second rate players. We got rid of four of out best players in the summer, this was down to SISU 'cost cutting' and never replaced them with the same quality, or in fact any one. AT has been shit on from a great height and now the Orange One even sits in the dug out, would you like him as mananger, because it looks like he if after the job!!!

That is the exact reason why i still haven't joined the thorn out camp.

Yea - write to them, they have a long history of listening to fans.

WE Shouldn't blame Thorn as the sole reason for our sorry Plight, the decay started the second that Sisu walked over the Threshhold, it took them five minutes to signal their intent of selling on our most gifted players instead of using them as building blocks for the promised reconstruture of our football club.
we have seen five managers try to build a team that we could be proud of, all have failed due to the chronic lack of investment in the playing side, does anyone calling for Thorns head, imagine a different manager, will be able to turn our Young, and in some cases,substandard players into match winners.
If anyone saw the Barnsley V Ipswich game on TV yesterday, it would squash the misconception of many fans that we have a good squad, that we clearly Have not, not for this division anyway...Now next seasons a different matter!

So we keep AT, sisu go when they want to go not until then.
So we continue with the inept lack of commitment on the pitch etc.
So basically sisu carry on doing what they want to do because they know they can keep a manager in charge who is not upto the job and fans are not bothered because it is not AT's fault it's sisu's, well they are doing exactly as they want by letting this carry on so they are just laughing because they can just serve up the dross being served up by a manager the fans wanted last year because of a few performances so they are doing what fans asked for by keeping him in charge and rubbing your noses in it.
So how by supporting AT are you trying to get sisu out?
By banners, your saying youre against what they are doing to the club, how can this be totally true when you will sit by and let them keep AT in charge, who is also adding to the problem.
You can not agree with me fine it is my opinion, but by supporting AT and feeling sorry for the guy no-one else could do any better is just playing into there hands, because you are agreeing with what is being put out on display in the name of so called entertainment.
No other set of fans in the country would put up with the abysmal amount of points and lacklustre performances that is being played and yet fans are because that is what we expect because it's sisu's fault, and some wonder why were a laughing stock, when fans are too pre-occupied with trying to get sisu out and not trying to get results on the pitch sorted, which would be a lot easier to achieve than trying to get a bunch of hard nosed business men out of the club who don't give a shit.
I am not saying lets not protest and give up trying to get sisu out but some are happy to get relegated because well thats what we expected so why bother wanting anythink else and when we get relegated we can carry on saying it's sisus fault but we will still be relegated without trying to put up a fight, well I hope those who want to keep this inept lack of performances will be happy because they don't want a change to try and turn this season around by any possible means.

the panacea is NOT to remove another manager, he, AT, is trying to cope with a situation that was forced upon him, (he accepted, but we don't know of major changes that could surely have occured)

put yourself in his place, (we certainly are not aware of the constraints, although i suspect they are hugely onerous ),

then re-examine the 'bits' that we have been fed by the 'mob',
i appreciate that his efforts have not measured up to expectations,
however, could anyone suggest a suitable replacement, a.n.other, who could turn our situation around ?

A gut reaction? God it is a knee jerk response to say dispense with a manager who has won 2 games all season isn't it? OK name one manager in the history of football who has turned himself and the club he manages from this position. He plays unsuitable, defensive football and clearly fails to motivate the team. Hull are a top 6 team and yet this useless bunch lost by a solitary goal so a true tactition could have changed things.
I ask you to think about our old chum Peter Reid and his time at Plymouth. Even you have to agree the finances there were worse than here. He helped pay the wages for the players and became good friend with the chairman. Ultimately he was sacked as they were bottom of the league. He accepted that with good grace. This bloke wants SISU to go nowhere as they are the only people who would employ him. Oh and SISU and their hedge funds OWN the club so SISU out is purely on their terms.

But your not going to get sisu out until they want to go, thats theproblem and no half arsed protest is going to affect them in anyway.
(not having a go at the protesters who are actually protesting, but there is just no momentum behind it, heard it was very quite yesterday.
But do hope it does get some momentum but try getting at the underlings first then gather up momentum towards the big fish, because they proberly are hardly aware of the fact that you are protesting at the moment and if thats the size of the protest then why should they worry..

Well our thorn out 1st then move on to the next (altough think we will need a few thousand more (each stage) the further we progress, the protest is cathering speed thats 2 members.

Who's saying protest's don't work?
The Libyans had a few more than a hundred or so protesting and that was about something a bit more important than football.
Plus the big picture maybe sisu out but it is going to take a bit more than a few hundred to protest and even then they will only go when they want to and feel it is the right time to suit them not the club, not the team and certainly not the paying public.

I want Thorn out but I doubt the person who came in could improve our position quickly enough. That said we do have some great players mixed in with the tripe: Juke, Clingan (in theory), Keogh has gone entire matches without losing a single tackle/header and had been outstanding, Platt is still v.underrated and Cody will be if he's played right and more often imo. I stand by the argument that our players as individuals are better than bottom 3. That said, Bell is poor, Baker can go either way and McSheffrey is infuriatingly inconsistent. Thorn isn't playing these players to his best which will cost us our place in the Championship. As someone else mentioned though, if SISU sell those mentioned above then we're screwed either way.

I agree with you on this - the whole is less than the sum of the parts! And that has got to come down to management. However much I like Andy Thorn, I do not think he is proving to be a good manager this season. SISU are the fundamental problem, but AT's inexperience and limitations are making it worse.
Driving home from the game last night, I was trying to make sense of Deluded going into the dressing room and sitting in the dugout. There must be a business objective to undermining the manager like that - I think SISU want AT to go as relegation is a certainty with him in charge and the maths of being relegated is not too attractive to them, but they do not want to sack him as it will further increase fan hostility to them and they will have to pay off his contract. So they are trying to pressure him into resignation.
Just my theory and it might be rubbish as there are obvious flaws in the plan - like AT going along with it then taking them to court for constructive dismissal - that would be interesting!

I believe that sisu hate any protest that will draw attention to their role at this club because as people often say look at the bigger picture,

for sisu that is much more than CCFC

negative press affect them in many other business' and investment deals. it makes investors nervy when they see other "projects fail"
