I started a thread about team selection etc small interest in it tho, more interest in the off field problems. Can't understand why though, it's almost as though if that wasn't sorted, it would effect the on field stuff?
Heads in the sand or would some of us like to have the odd discussion on here which isn't about the same thing debated in all the other threads?
Debating it becomes boring when:
a) We're all just effectively copy and pasting what we said yesterday or the day before
b) you could easily debate in one of the other SISU-centric threads
What ever we discuss will always come back to the elephant in the room.
How can we discuss the teams problems without discussing the lack of funding that has put us here? It's impossible !!!

You've said in previous posts that having ( hungry ) young kids playing for us is a positive , Presley as a manager ,is a positive . You also do not want to blame the owners for our present predicament . For the first time ever I left the ground 10 mins early yesterday and watched the second half of the rugby in the pub up the road . Who do you blame for where we are ? The Judd's lane gipsy curse?
What I do blame for Saturday in particular as per below:
Fatigue - Some of our players looked drain, in particular Andy Webster and Conor Thomas, Webster's challenge for the third goal was pathetic.
Luck - A lack of strikers has contribuited to our results, but it's not the fault of the owners for it.
End product - Again Saturday Cyrus Christie got into good positions and really did not do anything with it, which simply is really frustrating and I really like Cyrus.
A Character - We need a character on the pitch, we have a good leader in Carl Baker, but we need someone who is going to take the team by the balls and get them going, no one looked angry with the third goal and it's frustrating..
I confess I do boo but always after the game if I do. I cant tolerate a performance where I see lack of effort. If a team is better then great but if we don't try then im livid. Like Robo stated we went 3-0 down and no one looked bothered on the pitch. This is very concerning. You can say and debate sisu's fault or not. But a couple of think abouts .... if we had more investment then pressure off young players and lets face it we have a young inexperienced team. They over performed due to our situation for us but for me I was always waiting for this period. It was inevitable.
We started the season with two strikers and a small squad. We all knew that we would be in trouble once the bad weather started. Who's fault is it that we had a squad not big enough or only two strikers?

I have agreed previously that it's the owners fault that we couldn't bring anyone in, in the summer because we were under the Transfer Embargo, however in January we brought in four strikers, now for whatever reason this hasn't helped us at all, injuries, one player wanted to leave for an unspecified reason, Slager left because he was homesick. We could have played Courtney Baker Richardson recently or Ben Maund, there are options besides the players that we have brought in.
