It went down for maintenance then they decided to discontinue it.

What exactly is GMK? Another forum perhaps? I've never heard of it, lest been on it. SBT seems to be the #1 forum 'round with many good posts (and only a few lessoffs on here).

GMK used to be THE forum...but it is so unreliable and slow these days, that most people dont even bother...shame really....i still kinda remember the old days.
SBT is reliable and quick....hence the migration numbers

GMK remind me of the SISU takeover. A little while back all was well then a certain important guy went and a new guy came in. Since which time on this persons watch the whole thing seemed to slide into one failing after another caused by among other things poor site management, shocking server problems and a ego so large it forgot what it was anymore. Individuals appeared bigger than the 'club' that it was and among insults and accusations with others of a helpful persuasion soldered on regardless in the hope all will be well.

One thing you learn in life is look after those that feed you or they will find food elsewhere.....

GMK (Gary Mabbutt's Knee) was a printed fanzine like Twist n Shout. It also had its own board on Rivals.net (those were the days!). Now since the demise of rivals, it has its own site but has struggled lately with downtime and very slow speeds.

I used to post on there in the Rivals days but never have recently.

Unfortunately GMK is littered with trolls posing as CCFC supporters and you can't talk about footy there (when the thing's running properly anyway).

Sky Blues Talk is a much better forum!
