Man City basically nicked Sturridge for peanuts.

Kirkland wasn't nicked as such, went for half decent money.

Can't think of any 'youth' players as such that have been released and gone onto better things.

Ben Turner could potentially be in the PL next season. Can't think of any others apart from Osbourne in the SPL with Aberdeen, but that doesn't really count now does it...

It's not our Osbourne with Aberdeen it's his brother who was at Villa

It is 'our' Ozzy at Aberdeen. His brothers up there too, but his club escapes me.
