Is he a good manager for putting together such an exciting squad and getting us top at November or is he a bad manager for blowing it all. An interesting debate, I think probably a bit of both. He should've taken us up with the budget, squad and first half of the season we had. I don't think there is a better option that would join us though.
Where do you think CCFC will finish ?

Bump this thread on the 5th August and then again after the transfer deadline has passed. It's impossible to even contemplate at present particularly as Mowbray himself said he still needed 7-8 players.

It's been a dire close season for us so far but I'm still quietly optimistic he will pull it together at the last, as he did last year. I could be be very wrong however!!

Current squad 10-16th

With some good additions I think between 3rd-8th.
I like your optimism and , hope you're correct.

Lmfao. I've seen people form opinions on 1 minute TV highlights including loads of posters on here mate. So don't try to take the piss out of my oinion. I think from 10 minutes of seeing a very poor to average Div 2 team take our midfield and especially our right back to the cleaners, is pretty much all most people need to see.
So you can predict the whole season based on it? Get real, we haven't even got the full squad yet.

impossible to predict at the moment,

We might as well predict where we are going to finish in 2020/21

Why don't you get a grip Cavan! The season TM took charge we had a shit pre season and ended up being 20 minutes from being relegated
Haha. I'm reserving my judgement to the end of the transfer window. Who knows who he's got lined up. Could be better than last seasons lot

I reckon more bodies are coming in I also reckon that relegation statement is the biggest piece of crap
I have heard spouted for some time, which takes some doing the amount that has been floating around recently!

8th, 9th or 10th, but i have a bad feeling about the clubs status and TM ability to compete in the future. If we start poorly and struggle with quality in depth could be a long season. Lets hope we are in for a good season and see some of those young kids step up and secure a career in the game.

I know it was a friendly, but were you happy with that performance? If you were. I wasn't. Their midfield and two strikers dominated possesion, and in all honesty the scoreline flattered us.

I think I must have watched a different set of highlights. We scored 2, had one cleared off the line, Thomas forced their keeper into two good saves and DKE should have scored when he lobbed it over the keeper. RCC didn't have to make a decent save and we had as much of the ball in the highlights as they did only we actually created clear chances when we had it.

We've now scored 2 goals in every game so far and yesterday we were missing Jones, Stokes, McCann, Lamerias, Ricketts and Thomas who will all make the squad that played yesterday stronger. On top of this there will be more players coming in, if we can add a couple of good additions in defence I don't see us struggling.

Division looks a lot stronger, and right now we appear significantly weaker. Based on that I'd say we'll be mid table-bottom half. We look reliant on younger players making he grade, and Jodi Jones making a huge impact

I don't see we are any weaker apart from Armstrong missing and there's still time to replace him.

You have to remember he was a loan and TM has said we may well have to wait for loans until higher League teams formulate their squads.

Fleck for me was hit and miss, Cole too and yet again, Murphy.

I liked Martin, but the manager hasn't finished yet in the transfer market.

I remain optimistic.

Yeah I am as well, anything could happen and perhaps we will make the 5-6 signings that will allow us to perform. However based on the current squad and the rest of the division I would say it will be a more challenging season!

I really don't know what to expect from this season. Not relegation but aside from that not a clue at this moment in time. The way that the transfer market has worked out for us so far I wouldn't be surprised if we're loan heavy again and I think we learnt last season that can contribute to inconsistent performances.

It's a very difficult question. People asking what we should expect from this season, yet not a single one of us is able to predict the starting 11 for the first game of the season. We all know there are players still to come.

As we don't even know what the team is going to be, how are we in a position to say the team will do badly this campaign?
