I tend to agree but , I stated earlier today there are one or 2 on the Facebook page who are still sticking by the rumour.
If they were hidden by user names and faceless ( like the majority on here) i would say more than likely it was all Bollocks , but their not.

Common sense approach Dongonzalos, I too feel that we should be welcoming Simon's presence on here.
I read the Coventry Telegraph on line and don't understand the vitriol aimed at it and Simon.
I have read his book and found it a decent insight in to events over a long period and with the input of the protagonists.

Very strange behaviour. Either it's stupidity and not really thinking it through, or the odd person hates what he has to say as it goes against their view that much they would rather shout him down to silence him.

No, actually I don't. Fisher's just another corporate whore. A puppet doing the job his masters want him to, my anger there is aimed at SISU. Elliott though has been there of his own accord and just as complicit in some of the most destructive decisions in our clubs history. He's often spoken in the past before he's engaged his brain, which is dangerous when so many fans take everything he says as gospel, and doesn't appear to have any of the skillsets I would hope for a board member or chairman of CCFC, other than being a Cov fan.. Throw in his place on the board under SISU and Ranson, his attendance of Wasps games, the Haskell circus, the desire to shut down the academy and it's an ugly CV. I'd have taken this rumour over SISU of course but I don't think it would have been the right solution, not even close.

Looks like the Hoffman/Elliott rumour is yet another false dawn, no surprise there still leaves with Fisher and Sepalla and the real prospect of going out of existence. Being in division 4 the last in the Football League pyramid with no ground in 12 months and the constant threat I believe in another bout of administration always round the corner with what could be a 20 point penalty our future is on thin ice in my opinion and those who think we can just up sticks and move elsewhere tell me where ?
