just been relegated, so righty will need to cut our cloth accordingly.

We're a league two club now and will need to further reduce our wage bill asap.

You have to think players like Reid will be on too much for a league two club to sustain

Have you ever looked at the BBC website to see how many transfer fees are undisclosed? 90% are I would say, if not higher.

Ryan Haynes is out of contract. If we choose to offer him a contract then he rejects it a tribunal decides on compensation which is not disclosed.

Auninformedtwat4life makes an embarrassing thread.

Nevertheless if you look over CCFC published accounts you will see that the club made a net profit of nearly £8M on sale of player registrations in the last 4 seasons, the last 2 seasons were both around £2.5M in the black.

Haynes is fucking garbage. Why on earth anyone would pay money for him is beyond me and I'll be disappointed if we offer him a new deal along with the majority of the shite who have put us in this position. The dropping to the floor with his head between his knees at full time was extremely cringeworthy. Ooh feel sorry for us, we've tried.

Piss off you carrot, you're one of the main reasons we're dropping down to the FOURTH tier of English football. Shite. Let's take away the Wembley win and a good start under robins shall we and remember that the team on the pitch today are responsible for our demise, dropping from 8th to 24th in 12 months.

In the games I have seen Haynes has been decent to very good. Today he was quality IMO.
I hope you are as good at your job as he is at his.
He will play a part in our resurgence.

He was really poor especially in the first half. Robins said last week he was really poor as well.

He's out of contract. If he's any good he will have a queue of people offering a better deal than a league 2 club - or he's not good at all.

Shocking.... brush up on those who are out of contract, there's plenty of topics.... Willis will be first cash sale.
Willis, Stevenson and Harries will all be sold. If you stay away and ticket sales drop then they will be sold, that said if a reasonable offer comes in and the player wants to further his career you cannot hold them back to play in league two. Similarly with George Thomas, Haynes, DKE, if the get better offers elsewhere nothing you can do other than take the compensation fee.

I remember all of the stick that Ben Turner used to take from some of our "fans". He went on to prove them wrong and I am sure that Ryan Haynes will as well. Chances are that he will have a long and successful career as a professional. (Successful in the sense that he will earn a good living from the game).
Karl Robinson came on at the end of the game to commiserate with our players which I thought was a nice touch. The player I saw him go to first and pick up from the floor was Haynes. When we drew at MK a couple of years ago Haynes had a stormer which was picked up by Robinson in his after match comments on the radio. I wouldn't be surprised if Charlton don't come in for him over the summer. Shame for us as I think he will be a good player, particularly at the level we will be playing at.

sorry, are we disturbing the pro-sisu set?

Awesome comeback.

When he started out I felt he was almost better suited to being played as a winger rather than a full back, his defensive abilities remain very weak, but he is also unafraid to take players on and can put in a good cross on his day. Not to make a farcical comparison but Bale started out in the same way and people saw he was worth being moved further up the pitch and it paid dividends. Can't do any harm in these remaining games to try Haynes as a winger and see how he gets on with it.

We have tried. He's crap at that as well. Yesterday he somehow found himself in the penalty area didn't look and show any vision - just gave the ball away.

No one plays wingers so he'd be attacking left side. Defenders will suss him easily and force him into his right and he will just run into a cul de sac.

We have jones on a contract. Robins will have to work on him in the summer. He has out and out pace. That alone is an asset.

He's a lot better prospect for that role and if we can't offload Reid we are stuck with him as well.

So 3rd choice?

Really are you for real Jones is absolutely garbage one good cross all game and one shot he gives the ball away more then anyone else on the team.
That is why Robins dragged him off after running the whole length of the pitch again to have the ball caught by the away fans.

Well old Tone paid a six figure fee for him.

This club is crying out for pace. Kent last season took players with him and created space for others.

I am far more optimistic about Jones from yesterday's game.

Maybe it is just the fellow ginger in me seeing something that isn't there, but I still think with some work it is worth keeping in mind. With the bigger pitch at the Ricoh we can at least look to stretch teams wide, and tire out some of those top heavy defenders who will otherwise suss out a Jones or a Haynes.
