No. Looking at the pictures off the throw there is no way an official is going to give a foul through for his big toe being over the line on the pitch when a throw has been taken.

If it's the same mistake where they've stumbled I don't think there's enough time for anyone to make up the distance really, you're relying on the striker to miss or the keeper to stop him there I think

Not a chance, not when caught flat footed like that. Would Willis have been trying to do what McFadzean was in the first place though? Probably not either. But we have retained possession many times over the first few games because of his greater quality on the ball and that will result in goals over the course of the season.

Read the screenshot of the rules I posted. As long as some part of each foot is touching the white line or behind it, it’s a valid throw.
