Is that tonight or tomorrow night? We have no plans either way, but heated debate here to interpret what it means.

Surely they'll not risk people having NYE parties before they close everything down? (not here but some going from tier 2 to tier 4)

It's midnight tonight although I'm in tier 3 now from 2 so nothing much changes for me.

That's my take on it, but why say Thursday and not tonight if they mean tonight, almost like they want it to be unclear?

Yeah same here. Only real difference is Pubs, bars and cafe's have to close except for takeaway.

Going into Tier 4 here in Bournemouth.

Very grave situation for the whole country going by the 50k cases per day.
