I really think a focused and loved Bright could be a big player for us this season.

Im not sure that Robins is the right manager for Bright. Robins demands that players earn their chance on and off the pitch …. Bright looks like he needs a Harry Redknapp type to believe in him and get the rewards from showing that belief.

could be totally wrong but that’s myperception …

a fit and flying Bright, with O’Hare behind big Vic could be frightening

That is like saying a fit and flying Shipley with O'Hare behind big Vic could be frightening.

But its just nowhere near reality.

Robins is litterally the ONLY manager to belive in him, he didn't play anywhere else, he's been binned off on loans and trials and rocked up in the Indian Premier league where washed up players go for a pay day. I'd say Robins has shown a massive amount of Belief in Bright to even offer him a contract.

No one knows what is going on behind the scenes. MR has said its fitness so we have to take that on face value. The ball is firmly in Brights court.

No, appoint Harry Redknapp.

It’s bizarre. Bright would love Redknapp.

“forget all that diet shit son im old school. Let’s get daaan the smoke and have a knees up. Me mrs Sandra cooks a lovely jam roly poly mate that David O Drivel sometimes pops round for a swift Un. Nah wot I mean?”

“do I have to train gaffer”

“nah mate that’s modern football mate”

Harry the Thief?
Bloody hell in his own autobiography he comes across as completely corrupt and overwhelmingly motivated by money
Whatever you've heard about Redknapp the reality is even worse
But tbf Bright wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes under him

Is there a “right” manager for him? He’s been around many different clubs and countries - perhaps he would find Sunday league more accommodating

So we need to get rid of Robins then so Bright can play. Ok

The whole OP is just random. Robins is the only manager I’m sure whose agreed to take him.

Can't see it ending well here for Bright was hopeful when he signed that it would be a success but less hopeful now 5 games in and not even in the squad

I think that the only way you get anything (consistently) from Bright is exactly demanding that he earns the opportunity on & off the pitch.
Otherwise he has a couple of great games then considers everything needs to go through him and he stops working for the team.
At present he is a backup to O'Hare even when fully firing. So, yes he has to earn that chance or watch others grasp the opportunity.

I trust MR to deal with Bright and sort the situation one way or the other, if it works out well then that's great, if not, so be it, at least he gave it a try.
Ultimately the only real loser can be Bright and his career.

You just don't get this kind of comedy out in the real world. 10/10 Grendel. Great post.
