As for all this crap going on at the moment, we have no choice but to hold on and see.

None of us know, we are speculating (that's what a footy forum is for (and thanks Nick for
providing the channel), having seen other clubs forums we are lucky with the platform Nick has given us)).

MA (i'm old school and keep having to correct myself from Micky Adams (sad but true)).

SISU have put in millions (more than i guess any off us could have) but will eventually have to admit
Ray "Ransom" sold them a dud.

As for Mike Ashley, he did not make 2 billion by being stupid (even if he is , he has the best team around him to
advise him and stop him blowing money).

No one knows why he is trying to buying the Arena (other than the 250 year lease) otherwise let it rot and buy the arena then.

Supposedly, he wants to move his new Headquarters here to Cov and create loads of jobs (minimum wage but the council will sell it as Xthousands of potential jobs new to the area..
That could have brought all the (supposedly no council interference he needs to get a preferential bidder).

Could buying the arena with the promise of jobs open up other greenfield land to him, that without he would not get
the same help?

MA is not stupid (or at least him and his advisers are not).

Him buying the Arena could be part of a much bigger plan to relocate his business.

At the same time, please uncle Mike, buy us. Take us away from SISU and give us a little investment,
anything but them. Only the 5 mill needed, but we might fail so please another 10 mill next season.

None of us know, lets just keep supporting the team as that is the one thing we know we can do. PUSB forever.

This is very random. Has come from ex Sunderland player. This guy talked about taking over Sunderland and judging by the comments, it sounds like it would be best to stay clear

Hungary,

We have most chocolates just not the ones I like 😂, won’t find a flake or a boost bar here.
Too be honest thinking about it i don't see them out here other than people bringing them here to sell on (little England shops lol). The main supermarkets don't sell them.
Myself i love bacon flavour fries (like frazzels but better) lol bac.jpg

Because if we go with the prevailing argument that he wants both club and stadium, what kind of maniac would want to buy football club *and* stadium, without finding out if the football club's even available?!?

If he hasn't talked to SISU, it's because he can take or leave the football club, and really isn't that fussed either way!
But that’s my point, of course the football club is up for sale and presuming MA secures the stadium ‘who else would be in a realistic position to buy it.
As I keep saying, if he does buy the stadium IMHO he puts SISU in the snooker of all snookers, where do they go from there, do you honestly think they’ll dig in, keep running a midlands football club at cost neutral with no prospect of a future payday out of spite……..no chance.
If I was him I’d ignore their calls for a good while just to watch them squirm.

Yes or we Take a Break or Time Out
We could go for a Picnic, especially if we start to get the Munchies. Maybe hop on a bus there on a Double Decker. Not too close to a dogging site though, otherwise we might get to see a Whole Nut. 😱

If I get in all the chocolate bars except one for the Picnic basket, you can be left with the other one to get and then you can be the Fudge packer.

When we get there we can then just lie back and stare at the Milky Way, on the off chance we get to see a Starburst, or even Mars.

We may have to Wispa though, so as not to disturb anyone and maybe if I get lucky, you could show me your Curly Wurlys and give me a Chocolate Finger. Some people are so prudish though, so keep an eye out for the Snowflakes.

Best of all, if we are really bold, maybe we can be Heroes, just for one day.

Then it's off to the zoo to see a Penguin.

🤪

No, as said before this is a straight up choice.

Continue either subbing the club money or extracting insignificant amounts for decades more, or try to seal a big one off payment to also be shot of an entity they never really wanted and where any avenue to getting the ground on the cheap is permanently closed off.

My concern is they decide to cash in on all the players worth anything in January then go for a sale half a season before relegation.
It would be great if we were safe by then 😀. There could be another option. Sell on agreements with the new owners combined with a sum as part settlement. They could of course asset strip the squad. The January transfer window will not be a seller‘s market either.

Comments reported from Quanterama
during the Derby takeover.

We can however confirm that we have neither been approached by, nor have we entered into dialogue with Mike Ashley.”

A bit of clarity around a possible misconception, although it did make printed media that he had £50M to offer and wouldn't levy any charges for 10 years I believe.
