They are going to need to start putting walls up to stop people moving as well....

But if they all move over to the North Stand they'll make even less!

It's literally cheaper next season than last season for kids if they move there. Quite significantly too.
Yeah they clearly want to get more kids in but for some reason have them in one area.

There’s already stewards standing at each turnstile. So wouldn’t cost any more. They have too many stewards in my opinion. You have 50 stood in the tunnel between away and home fans.
Yeah on the outside doing searches. They can’t then run inside if somebody has the wrong ticket

You obviously don’t go games then. They have a steward inside the concourse at each turnstile too.

Doug and Boddy are probably sat in a room reading this fuming that they've offered an Adult season ticket for £250 (two hundred and fifty) quid plus a child (including a JSB) for £50.

It's a real shame people are seeing that.

We could gain thousands of kids with that deal.

I think before Monday you can only purchase the £500 ones, is that right, I couldn’t seem to change anything when I looked to renew mine, i only seemed to have that as an option? Same for everyone else?
Think that is right.

Joy wore a sky blue dress on Sky and went to games too and clapped.

It's a bit too hard to judge based on that, Mike Ashley used to drink pints with the fans etc.

Hopefully Doug King doesn't go too much like his brother....

Get the point you’re making but don’t think it’s the same.

I've just realised also that under 14s have to pay £50 membership fee on top of £200 st price.

Three or four empty blocks of segregation either side of the family zone should do the job

That's another issue. Matchday sales will no doubt start from block 25 and blocks will be released one by one, meaning it'll be empty behind the goals most games. No city fans behind either goal, loving that league 1 vibe.

Unless we sell 4000+ JSB/£250 tickets.

The problem with detecting an incorrectly used ticket INSIDE the ground, is that the steward then has to escort that person outside. Leaving nobody to police the next people coming in.

Much easier to scan the ticket outside the turnstile.

Yes it’s the same for everyone.
After monday they’ll presumably release the standard zone season tickets for a period and then release unsold season ticket seats for sale , which is probably when I’ll buy mine

I go through turnstile 18-21 every game and always a steward as you walk in standing between the 2 turnstiles

There's barely any inside when you get further down towards the Tesco stand. All outside doing half arsed searches.

Seems a bit overly complicated, especially the kids pricing.

Feel for those in their early 60's who've just had a massive price hike.

Fine with the premium seating, and if you're an adult sitting there you may as well go for the PL package - extra £20 but could have a free PL season ticket in a month's time.

I can understand people with kids being annoyed that to sit where they want is going to be a huge price hike. But I can also understand why the club would want to almost force people with kids into the Family Zone.
1. It makes policing of underage tickets easier as most would be going in on the opposite side of the stadium to where they seem to have the biggest problems. If any do try and get in on an underage ticket elsewhere the revenue lost wpn't be so significant.
2. With the antics that go on in Singers Corner no doubt the club and SAG have safeguarding concerns, especially with much younger children, while impressionable older children ape the behaviour of men who should know better and then end up becoming the next set of coked up morons.

Will it have an effect on the enjoyment the kids have and make them less passionate about coming (and thus potentially affect revenue from them in the future)? Quite possibly. But I think that most parents will be taking the cheaper option and moving to what I expect to be quite a substantial sized family zone taking up much of the north stand. The we'll have to see how that effects kids attendances etc. It may well be a bit of an own goal, but I can understand the club's reasons for doing so.

I would imagine they will rinse the “premium” season ticket holders if we get promoted. Force out the plebs who have been paying a bit extra in the past so they can be replaced by high paying corporates to take their plastic Manx supporters for a jolly day out.
