Our collective xG is 0.13 and we’ve got one cross into the box all half. If we’re going to criticise Simms let’s at least recognise that he hasn’t been provided with anything constituting an actual goal scoring opportunity. If you think he’s going to beat 3 defenders and lash it in from 25 yard you’re going to have a hard time watching him all season.

The service for our strikers has not been great. Godden and Simms do not appear to be strikers who can fashion chances themselves. Wright will be an important addition if his style of play is similar to Gyokeres.

We’re not playing with the width to get balls in the box. Need MVE or Tatsu to fire the balls in.

We look a good outfit. So much to like about Simms. He's just not quite there yet. We need to be patient. I think he could be massive for us when it all clicks.

Would like to see wright for godden personally second half.

Bobby Thomas has been sensational. Lati and mcfadz too. Impressed with JDS too. Sheaf started slow but got better.

We've done okay at the back and limited them to very little, but when we do get the ball we are far too sloppy and either misplace passes or get robbed of possession too easily.

Over all though, we've done alright I think.

We've been decent enough, with better execution we could be ahead.

I'm hoping with Simms we'll see a Gyokeres-esque transformation from a clumsy cumbersome looking player to a powerhouse.

Palmer definitely improving as the game’s gone on. Simms just doesn’t seem to be playing with confidence which is surprising considering he has good experience at this level last season and a decent preseason. Bobby Thomas making a good first impression and a great save at the end. Feel like we’re playing our way into the game hopefully a good talk from Robins can kick us up a notch or two which I think is all it will take based on Leicesters first half performance.

That was a very mature first half performance from a top championship side and Leicester looked ok too

Need to keep concentration and simms needs to wake up
