    I was there when.....

I was there when Chelsea turned up in our away kit, remember it being midweek, wet and they hardly had any fans. Comfortably beat them as was normal in those days (paul williams goal?) and le bouef spat (or stamped) on the kit at full time

Fifth Round... / Brighton Ticket Details

bit surprised at the negativity.. great day out (for those who get a ticket), and about as winnable as any other draw since they'll be half hearted about the cup. May be alone in being totally disinterested in some overhyped tie against a big team. Perhaps it's growing up in the nineties, to...

Do We Have A Serious Rivalry?

Not convinced most leicester fans ever gave much of a shit about us, compared with say derby/forest (except perhaps the ones who live down the m69). Villa even more so, always entirely one-way, they only vaguely entertained it just because there were no other west mids clubs in the top flight...

    Bradford crowd

Not sure there's much point in saying 'shitty fans' and all the rest, but I am surprised by just how low things have sunk this season, a few years ago I thought our 'hard core' who would go along in absolutely any circumstances would be at least 10k - after all there were still 16-17k turning up...

Back then he wasn't brilliant , but in this current team .........

I'd quite like to see the return of Isaias - and was there also a carlos batista or something who came from portugal with much promise around then

    Atmosphere at home

Funny, I found the atmosphere at Walsall a bit underwhelming for a local game (perhaps it was being right at the end - sound didn't really carry from one side to the other). Felt at times like people were there mostly for a day on the piss, which they probably were given recent form!

Not available on the gate according to the website? Bit of a pain as need to make a late decision, might end up having to sit with strange cider-munching folk

    CCBCFC Stadium

The new stations in Nottingham, Sheffield and Birmingham aren't even in the cities - seems more like a glorified park and ride system to help even more commuters get into London than anything that will redress the balance.

    View from a Wasps fan

Saw something earlier that the vast majority of current wasps fans live in Wycombe or thereabouts - i.e. very few actually travel from London - doesn't this mean they are already a franchise club along the lines of MK Dons? How many people would kick up a fuss if MK Dons decided to move on...

ticket sales to date for Gillingham

If it does turn out that some fans miss out as a result of the SAG (via insurance issues or whatever) I think they should be publicly challenged to justify their advice - they are supposed to be servants to the public after all These faceless organisations have long been at the forefront of...

    Private Eye Todays Issue

Disappointing from private eye, is it really a fact that the club was broke because of the rent? We all know it was high but the implication being all would have otherwise been rosy, because the other 90% of expenditure was entirely affordable? Could live with most of it but then the paragraph...

    Club is fucked

Nobody pretends liquidation and starting again would be easy or without many problems but arguably still preferable to another full season like the one just gone.

    Higgs v SISU Court Document

I'm guessing anything less than blind hatred for the council = 'creaming' in this context, because I see a hell of that on this thread, beyond all rationality, and not a hell of a lot of creaming.

    MK Dons Match Thread

Relegation battle is looking interesting with a few winning today, it's amazing how tight it is this year, usually in this division there's some team cut adrift but Shrewsbury could give themselves a fighting chance with a win

    Higgs v SISU Court Document

A reasonable post but no I don't think there will ever be a point where people on either 'side' are proved wrong or change their minds en masse, perhaps because the truth is somewhere in the middle and can be (and will always be) twisted either way. The anti-council mob have never shown any...
