Although that sounds alot don't they also pick up the tab for the cost of running it? It would be interesting to see what actual nett gain they get from the arrangement.

swansea is not necessarily the best example. one it had no outstanding stadium debt to deal with. Secondly aren't they under an Eu investigation on how the rental deal was done and financed?

No an Italia myth - never been more than £250,000. They also gained from the sale of some of the land in 2007 for retail development and were gifted a share in the management company. To suggest their deal wasn't the best in the country and made the club what it now is is absurd. If they had Mutton and Lucas as their leaders we would be where we are now and Wasps fans would be learning Welsh.
