At the recent Trust forum, he came across as supportive of TM. He said that he hopes TM will be here for a long time and would eventually feel secure enough to move his family from the north east. He also said that sacking managers doesn't work financially or statistically. I thought the piece was interesting. Didn't really feel it hinted at any problems between the two, seemed the opposite if anything.

To me it showed that it took some time to forge a decent working relationship, but they have got there. He is very complimentary about Mowbray and Venus and praises them for being open minded to see if they can learn anything new.

I was at that meeting which Chris Anderson attended and came away not a lot wiser than before I went to be honest lot of waffle and saying what the usual suspects like to hear. He mentioned Tony Mowbray numerous times, too many times in my opinion and I'm not just saying this now I came away doubting how much support CA really had for him.

Yeah I don't see the hints at a split in that article.

Interesting he says his son is a City fan. Does he just follow us because of his Dad?

On this, has anyone read The Numbers Game? - worth a read or not?

comes across well but so have lots of people over the years whose involvement has turned out to be a hindrance to the club, we'll see what happens.

I'm about 3/4 way through and yes I'd say it is def worth a read. Not only does it debunk a lot of the myths and stereotypes that we get fed (eg there's no difference between the top 4 European leagues yet we see Serie A as defensive, La Liga as attacking, Premier League as all action) but also could give us some insights as to the direction we're heading under Anderson.

Don't see where there is any suggestion he doesn't get on with TM.
