Watching the early goals, everything he hit seemed to go in even if was off the keeper's arse and then you compare it to the end of the season when he couldn't buy a goal.

Watching the early goals, everything he hit seemed to go in even if was off the keeper's arse and then you compare it to the end of the season when he couldn't buy a goal.

I know this sounds silly at first, so bear with me!
But I couldn't help but think when we were on fire in those first 3 months, and Armstrong was on fire, that a lot of our goals were from quite far out, outside the box, or keeper could have maybe done better. I remember Fleck scoring a couple of important goals from 30-35 yards, and for Arma as you said everything he hit just went in.
Not taking anything away from them because they were goals plain and simple, but I do feel like we just missed that element of luck in the second half of the season too.
