Indeed, had they not secured Jonson Clarke-Harris on loan they might have struggled for the goals to get them to the Wembley final at all.

They make it sound like the transfer window has been and gone, every player we've brought in has already flopped and we've lost the first 5 games on the bounce.

Maguire Drew and Baker both "frantic roles of the dice that failed"!

Coventry
And giant defender Abu Ogogo (5"8' midfielder)

Ironically, the BBC article that you bet directed to when clicking on ‘giant defender Abu Ogogo’ tells you he’s a midfielder on the second line. The article reeks of shoddy ‘journalism’.

Few other mistakes:

- our defence was the best in the league until roughly game 40 of the season, we finished 3rd overall
- JCH scored 3 league goals — less than Biamou
- we were above Swindon for most of the season, who we happened to do the double on too, he has a point about Mansfield, but we finished 6th...
- we lost to Lincoln at home, but we also beat them away and finished above them
- Baker didn’t play a game, JMD was ill so played a couple of games
- questions whether Doyle can play another full season, the guy has played 40+ league games every year since 2011

Grammar check would have helped. A league the Ricoh befits (not benefits!) Shoddy indeed

Apart from being full of errors and badly researched, it's probably the most biased pre-season appraisal I have ever read. We all know we had a few bad results as did almost every other team in L2, including Mansfield & Swindon, but that was offset be some excellent results, including 6-1 away at Cheltenham. Funny there was no mention of that, or the hammering of Notts C away in the playoffs, when a good result really mattered.

This guy should probably look at the final table. We conceded less goals than anyone in the playoffs and scored exactly the same as Exeter and Lincoln. If we limped into the playoffs we limped in in better health than them.

been down the results list and picked out a couple of scores.
probably only seen us play on the the telly and a bit forum surfing.
don't think that any side in L1should particularly frighten us. gonna be another tight league when most sides should be capable of getting results.

Can't wait to see his article next year after we beat them twice and finish (luckily) in the play offs and their on the way to L2

It's the fella who writes the stacey west blog. He also writes for football league world. He's a Lincoln fan. Fuck all to do with sunderland. Totally different person.

Only 3 of them were celebrating.
Nope, they're still clowns.

And a few at the back (clearly the biggest cunts of the bunch) celebrating the Columbia goal.

No problem with the squad (until we play em) or 99% of the fan base... it’s just the 1% dickheads who are always the victims...
