Damn that was a frustrating game in that it was brilliant, but you quickly worked out spin dominance etc. We used to play World Cup's as Associate nations or England with spinners banned from our selection! UAE, Ireland, Kenya etc
The real trick was manual fielding, the AI would run a pre determined amount regardless of if a fielder had the ball or not!
Did you use the cheats at all? "butterfingers" so all bar 'keeper catches dropped!
My favourite was ‘solid oak’ so you could allow yourself to get bowled as a defensive stroke
