What if no one from the Club has been in the Country this week?

Nope. But then again I'm not head honcho of a fan organisation.

Either you are miffed that you are not or starting to at least ask the question why they don't keep fans or a fan organisation in the loop?

Because their agenda isn't ours? No point worrying about being ostracised when you already are, by their policies.

Both sides say they will talk, but both have put pre-requisites before they will talk to the other, so talks are all-but guaranteed to never take place
ACL want legal action dropping and overdue rent paid before they will talk
SISU want to talk about matchday revenues and stadium ownership.

Sorry, but i really don't see where all this rumour and speculation and sense of optimism has come from this week? Other than a few comments from Damien Collins we're still in the same predicament.....

I highly doubt Hoffman is going to be told if talks are taking place or not, or even Michael for that matter, after all Michael is like Gary's PA at the moment for all of this... Stop talking out your arses.

If talks are taking place their is no way anyone will tell you and the cretins behind you Michael SISU despise your backers.

I'm sure Joy can keep in touch with SISU investments and investors all over the world. News is no longer reliant on the travelling minstrel.

Nah, always been a wallflower me. "You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties".

I'm just saying if you constantly slag off SISU (which I'm certainly not saying they don't deserve) they are unlikely to keep you informed.

This guy is right and the Telegraph confirmed today that right now negotiations are not in place... But that doesn't man that they won't in the near future.

This is my prediction,

The Football League are due to meet on August 7th to decide how much is owed to ACL as part of the CVA. This money is already in Escrow from SISU so whatever the FL decide SISU will pay.

At this point negotiations will begin between the two parties around matchday revenues as quite rightly SISU require these to be able to continue to run the football club. When this is agreed the club and everyone involved will move very quickly to get us back at the Ricoh in time for the Cardiff game and if not then the Sheff Utd game as either will pull in a full house crowd.

It sounds a bit pie in the sky but there has been too many hinting comments from all parties involved within the club from the owner, to the manager to the players. Something for me is definitely afoot.

Right fair enough, what about if both Tim Fisher and Joy Seppala weren't in the UK and therefore could not hold formal talks with ACL?

I think you are fairly right with this.. or its just more spin from all parties on the eve of a march... like last year.

Hoping your right though, just wish Michael would give it up now, nothing positive to say about anything, and certainly wont be told after he is totally against the current owners so why would they advise him they are in talks.

So this is the headline: Bad news, negotiations are not taking place!

Then in the text there's no evidence this is true. No statements from either party. No 'off the record' statement from any insider.
Nothing.

So the headline is misleading to put it mildly.

Who is really pulling the strings?
Hoffman?

FWIW:
If talks are being held, then there will only be subtle signs to the public: Everyone involved will crawl under the radar and be silent.
Only rumors of talks taking place will pop up, but no one will confirm or deny.

The point is they have never kept fans informed, a failure they keep acknowledging and apologising for. They are also an international company who don't seem to have the ability or the will to rectify the matter....it is not slagging off it is pointing out their failings and the realisation they don't have the interests of our club or the fans at heart.

I don't object to you being in the kitchen at a party, but I do object to Coventry City playing their home matches in the equivalent.

Godiva, you could ask him outright if he does have any evidence. Oh, actually that's not a good idea. SBJ would be on your case and accuse you of bullying and abuse.

Grendel is an expert on this...the telephone conference or Skype conference....or they could fix a date in the future...which would suggest talks are taking place.

My own opinion is SISU have no intentions of holding talks.

Discussions of this nature would not be appropriate of Skype or Call, both sides will want a face to face meeting, the fact that neither side has stated that nothing at this moment in time leads me to believe a meeting maybe in the pipe line.

Why do you think that Hobo? What do you think is their master plan if they are not interested in a return?

I forgot about SBJ - how can I sleep tonight? Can I delete the post? Any chance he didn't see it?
I leave town now!

4. Start a campaign of contacting known or suspected SISU investors, drawing their attention to the current position.

I suggested this last season, but was shouted down. It's the investors that count - do they know how much of THEIR money is being wasted on pointless legal fees.

You could also 'out' them so we all know who they are.

I contacted my pension provider AVIVA and they say they are not investors in this hedge fund - others may want to ask their financial institution who provide pensions and insurance.

On the other hand, you might not :(

Anyway, I'll be at Bradford for the first game :)

I think you are a tad optimistic on this, but I'm pretty sure nothing will be happening till the FL pronounce.
