Not a great advert for competitiveness , also alludes to what @Frostie talks about in regards to elite level football .


It would appear the bundesliga is the least competitive league in Europe domestically

They've also won 17 of the 22 league titles since 2000.

Look at the income and wage bill. Smashes the other clubs and ownership structures means outside investors can't come in and level the playing field. But then look at France and PSG - probably same going to happen there.

Imagine If the super league had gone ahead some of these teams fans would soon have got bored with mid table finishes.

Ive just learned that the Bundesliga wasnt formed until the mid 1960s!
I've always assumed it was of similar age to the Italian and Spanish leagues as I knew Bayern had over 30 titles.......but no....that makes its 31 in 58 years.....ridiculous.
