Wilson I can kinda understand. Pressley utilised him quite a bit towards the end of the season. Still not the answer IMO, and is living off that one goal he got (was it on his debut? Can't remember for certain).

But is anyone really that impressed by Billy Daniels who's just been rewarded with a new contract? Thorn started the season with him. I was surprised to see him included. Robins, rightly so, took him out of the first team, and he didn't feature (from what I remember) much under Pressley.

When I saw him, he looked lightweight. Didn't really offer us much. Not least anything that Jennings doesn't bring to the team.

Confused as to why (aside from Umbungo issue) we are keeping hold of so many youngsters!

Reminds me of when we kept signing Jeffers season after season.

I really cannot see us progressing this year if Pressley thinks these players can hack it at this level

We'd be better off with Phil Daniels if his showings last season are anything to go by.

To be fair Daniels is only 18, Wilson is 21.

He obviously thinks Daniels can develop, had he been wilsons age I would be concerned, but he's not.

Didn't thorn play him as a holding midfielder when he was a striker? I might be wrong though!

He was a striker but had recently become (and remains) a holding midfielder.

Although I kinda think his interpretation of "holding" is "stand here in the middle 'cos I don't know what the hell I'm meant to be doing"!

Because these will be the only "signings" we will be making all summer? I thought that was fairly obvious to everyone by now. I look forward to them being included in the figures when questions come forward in a couple of months slamming lack of signings. Especially when we are near the foot of the table.

Three words for you: bang, bang, bang.

As I have said on previous occasions playing youngsters is what Pressley does. This isn't no big surprise.

Who knows, we may have one which we can sell for millions... :thinking about:jokes aside though it'll be interesting to see how the squad looks next year.

I say it's worrying how the squad will look, not interesting!
