After getting the buzz back I was flicking through some old Cov vids on YouTube, how good was Speedie in the air? Not bad at a lob either!
I was just too young to appreciate him properly but remember him being the first player to leave that really upset me! Kinda used to it now though!!

When Speedie first signed and played in the charity shield missing a shed load of chances I thought we'd signed another donkey but he turned out to be one of my top 10 City players as his ability to score for a wee man was sensational

i remember Liverpool fans slating him saying he was to small and he went and scored somat like 13 headers for them ,great player ,good engine and good with the fans
