Confirms my oft repeated view that he is on a good wedge - and it's even better now. They trust him unlike any other of their 8 previous appointments! The trouble is that he is coming to the end of his third year, which is when managers start to loose impact. His conservatism may yet be his undoing.
What is this rubbish about 3rd year losing impact ...? We’ve had new bloody squad every year

Good news on many different levels

Stability for the club as a whole but more importantly the squad
For the structures being put in place,
A clear hands off statement to other clubs, and puts his price up
Shows and demonstrates faith in MR
A clear strategy going forward in terms of what the manager wants to achieve
After losing the academy head it keeps the club direction at the younger ages consistent
Is good PR for the club with the fans
It's positive and simple PR for the owners
A good opportunity to say we want to be back in the city
Well timed and quickly done

What's not to approve ? :)

I have been told that Robins didn't want to go to Huddersfield but sisu wanted the compensation. Can't say for sure its true but I believe it to be.

If that's the case it shows the club's hierarchy are at least learning some lessons about running a club.

So mackems don't think Ainsworth is good enough for them, cos they're a "big" club, and he's small time so that's them fecked and also Wycome without a manager so they could also be fecked??
Win, Win, I reckons

The fella criticising Robins for sticking with Swindon over going to them is my favourite. Hoyed his hands up to his mistake after

It’s some research that’s gone on and written about and some people gobble the stuff up as if it applies every time... it doesn’t!

Great news about Robins though. Bonus that we got to tell Sunderland to do one as well

In Robins we trust, just need a striker to play upfront with Godden.

Great news-although he says he hasn’t signed it yet?
