Jay is looking for somebody to go with him to matches at St Andrews, he is registered blind so needs a hand getting to his seat and a bit of a description of what's going on with the match.

I would do it if I was driving, because then I would happily have given him a lift.

Hopefully he will find someone. I already have a car full.

I hope its not CWR he is asking to give him a description of the match!

the club - (i dont want to get into a who is the club /owner debate etc), but the club should be all over this and going above and beyond to make sure that supporters like this dont have to miss out due to the shambles that we are in. Same applies to the elderly and anyone else requiring assistance!

He has only just posted it so hopefully they will try.

Is a blind person eligible for a free carer ticket?

Don’t sit him next to Clive Eakin, he wouldn’t have a clue what was going on.

Hopefully the club can help out with things like this. If not I’m sure our fans will step up as they have done before.

This is something that hopefully SBT, fans and the club can help coordinate as I’ve seen posts from other people who can’t make it due to assistance issues.

Also, there’s a meeting of the new supporters’ group due soon where this sort of stuff gets discussed

Just to add CovRoadSafetyBlog offered to pay for a season ticket for anyone that can do this but apparently you’d be classed as a carer and get in free anyway.

Could we get a pool of people who could take him to games when available.
It wouldn't be possible for me to do every game but I could do a few and if some others could I'm sure we could get him to plenty of games.

just bumping this - perhaps make it a sticky Nick?

I have offered my services for a few games to Jay in the event he doesn't come up with a full time arrangement, be great if anyone else could.
