The only thing that spoiled it for me today was the strange guy sitting next to me.

He had the whole row to pick a seat, but plonked himself right down next to me and then talked to me all game.

Weirdo. ;)

Block 20 & you have a row to yourself.......hmm are you sure hes the 'weirdo' in this scenario.....

Slades tactics are woeful he sets up not to loose and that has cost us late goals in games cos we are defending too deep and nearly cost us today. Their centre backs we allowed to to push so far forward it was unreal and given so much space in the second half. We need defend from the front not on our 18 yard box and go out to win games not try not to lose.

You just couldn't make it up, must have been a bit of a loner or maybe just felt sorry for you
He looked like he had just come from the Sally Army soup kitchen, so maybe I just took pity on him.

He offered me what looked like a Trevor extra strong mint, but I reckon it was actually drugs.

The sanctity of Block 20 shattered.

Special mention for the 3 officials especially the ref and the Lino on the old tesco stand side they were absolutely abysmal to both sides!
I was more worried about him giving a pen or the linesman missing an offside than a defensive error costing us!

Baffling why the lino on the old tesco stand side put his flag up for offside then 30 seconds later put it down

It could have been a lot worse, he could have been a 25 stone giant who had bad BO.

You would have been grateful for the drugs, might have made you think City looked world class, rather than conference standard

I think the Lino must have had a message from the ref indicating the reason why it wasn't an offside. That's the only reason I can think of why he didn't keep his flag up.

its all opinions - I thought haynes was awful today, and the main reason why they battered us 2nd half as they used that wing at every opportunity

Correct. How we've missed stokes at left back.

Don't understand Slade taking off Thomas for Jones as it totally exposed DKE for the last 25 minutes however the little pocket rocket(DKE) stood his ground and has the tenacity that if all the players had we would not be in this mess.

Both Thomas's looked injured. Learned landed on his back or hip and George had been kicked around all game long.

Late post but - well done city!

Enjoyed the game sort of! Very reminiscent of the Wycombe victory.

Afraid Slade isn't the answer, but hopefully we can build some momentum now. Reilly excelllent as was tudguy until he was knackered.

Finally I was quite impressed with the yak - he obviously knows what he's doing. Hope he get fitter tho.

Even though it looked like he was wearing concrete slippers and he could hardly move or run, I do think bringing him on along with Jones changed the game.

It gave us a different outlet and we could even have scored on two occasions, whereas previously in the half we had created nothing at all.

If this sort of thing happened to me, I'd just say, "I'm just nipping to the bog mate. Save me seat!" Then bugger off and sit elsewhere!

For as long as I can remember, we've defended too deep to hang onto a result. Apart from, I guess, the sixties, when we used to roll teams up for fun.

I'm pleased to see that Tudgay has been getting some credit on here for his performances in the last couple of days. I always thinks he works hard for the team, even when he's not having the best of games. He doesn't hide.

Fair enough.
How many goals does he score?

Tudgay is so frustrating. Yesterday in that first half he was everything you want him to be, lead the line and didn't drop to deep and played as a striker.
2nd half he did his usual and dropped very deep to help out which is great! But you lose your focal point up top and become a 6 man midfield and as we seen it became relentless the ball constantly came back and as Tudgay legs go he stays deep permanently.
