[Fulham] Boss Silva said: “We lost the game because of individual mistakes. It was not something tactical.

“After we made individual mistakes, they punished us; the first goal, second goal and third goal.

“When you make these kind of mistakes at this level it is easy for them to create chances.”

Coventry, roared on by a vociferous travelling support, looked impressive – and could still make the play-offs.

It was an afternoon to forget for Fulham, whose fans made their frustration clear during a below-par performance from their team.

“It was a disappointing afternoon for us; for me, for our players as well, and for our fans,” Silva said.

“I think, overall this afternoon, all of them (Coventry) were better – even their fans were better than ours.

“When you are playing at home, if something is going wrong for us, we football players – our team, our fans – we have to fight against it.

“This afternoon they were on top, their fans were on top as well, and they won the game.”

To be fair their fans had to be given those clapper things Leicester used to love. That says all you need to know.
