Just seen that Jodi Jones isn't in the Notts County squad for todays game against Scunthorpe Utd. But there is ex-Coventry representation with Jim O'Brien. And Tom Bilson is in goal for Scunthorpe.
Jodi can't play for his club this weekend as he's out of the country, playing for Malta. Played on Thursday in their 2-1 defeat to North Macedonia. And has a good chance of playing tomorrow (Sunday) against Italy.

Come on Grendel. Even for you, that sounded a trite dismissive. Considering his playing record with us, whether it's 1 minute, 6 minutes or 60 minutes, it doesn't matter how long he got. He now has an International cap. That's something a lot of professional players aim for but never achieve. This season at Notts County has done him a world of good.
And Dom Hyam never got a game today for Scotland, against what on paper were weaker opponents. Be interesting to see if Steve Clarke plans to rotate his squad for the next game.

Believe he turned down a number of club managerial jobs? He ruled himself out of the job when he was caretake hear. Same again at Brentford. Seems to enjoy the youth team set up more but has done well wherever he has gone, and has a great reputation.

Good to see Jodi Jones get 75 mins against a strong Italy side in a competitive fixture.
People might say “only Malta though” but fair play to the lad. I’m not saying sign him up - just fair play and it must give him some satisfaction to be playing in that game after all he’s been through.

Stuck in a hospital bed (my own fault and I’m not looking for sympathy from you dangers, just explaining the time on hands) for the last couple of days so been listening to podcasts.
Undr the cosh:
The Dowie one was ok, the Nardiello (Jr) one was interesting (local lad, apparently was going to sign for us but failed a medical) and one of the hosts, Jon “Beast” Parkin had agreed to sign for us and something happened last minute.
By far the most insane one so far is the Leon Knight one. Not related to Cov but OMG just 2 hours of shaking your head in total disbelief.
Just listen to it if you get opportunity.
