I have just noticed BBC Football site has us down for 2pm kick off on Saturday. Anyone know why? Northampton are away.

Probably to avoid clash with Northampton egg chasers?

Northamptn Saints are at home. helps parking chaos if the footie starts earlier. The Cobblers get dumped on like this also

The two grounds are quite close, Saints kick off at 3:15 - do you remember when HR kicked off at 3:15 in the '60's - always wondered why.

Its certainly 2pm because of the Northampton Saints. In a crazy world it would be Northampton rearranging their kick off time not COVENTRY CITY!!!

As I recall, it was to do with the time that the Saturday morning shifts at the car factories finished.

The Saints hold a lot of politcal sway in the town, which is often viewed as more of a rugby town anyway. In fainrness they do get crowds of 14k are second in the league and have been European Champions! The fans are still generally a bunch of footbal hating miseries though despite the success.
