Anyone had the issue where Chrome (Android) starts replacing your Favourites/Most visited sites with recent searches?

It is doing my head in. My home page has been fairly consistent or years, with buttons for all my most visited sites. But about a mont ago it's started inserting in recent searches instead. If I manually delete the searches my normal site buttons are restored.

I can seem to pull any solutions online at all. Any tech people that can offer any help I'd be very grateful

Go to chrome://flags/#organic-repeatable-queries

Find the option called 'Organic repeatable queries in Most Visited tiles' (if not highlighted already) and change it to disabled

Perfect that seems to have done the trick. It was driving me insane, couldn't seem to find anything about by searching. Why anyone would want their random latest searches saved as buttons is beyond me.
