was he arrested under Scottish law?

You argued before that these arrests were to prevent harm coming to the dissenters. Which if so is an interesting precedent-remove the dissenting opinion rather than protect its right to be heard.

Would you prefer one of the top quality nicknames you bestowed upon him instead?

Well I think Starmer has hope of being PM - Corbyn and his hapless entourage of anti royalists would be looking at another 10 years in opposition

Hardly - Corbyn types are never going to be elected - he’s a poor communicator and unconvincing but he’s as left as this country wants

Ah yes, because of all those not left wing policies like er spending the same as Corbyn on climate, or taxing profits from gam companies to support people.

Anyway what’s that got to do with the Kieth?

Given Mr Corbyn and Mr McDonnell are and always have been staunch objectors to the EU project I’m taking your objection to sticking with pledges with an ocean of salt. You really are a bit of an Ed Davy socialist

No. Said several times, we had the choice between 2 types of neo liberalism, and leaving, under this tory government was the worse.
Been correct so far. Its been a disaster and not what brexiteers promised, no downside, sunny uplands etc, absolute bollocks.

So last knockings of the funeral, I reckon they'll all be having a singalong now. Maybe a verse of sweet Caroline

Then you agree with Keith vs Mr Corbyn on Brexit then?

Really not funny. I walk past increasing numbers of desperate homeless people every time I walk to work.

I drive to work so I wouldn’t know - how do you know they are homeless or on the rob

I agree with corbyn on brexit if we got the brexit he wants, but that's not happening. Compared to what we've got we'd have been better staying in.

You happy with how it's gone so far, rapidly declining economy and environmental standards, unleashing bankers bonuses why energy bills are going through the roof?

No real point, just a general observation of how pathetic this board has become turning almost every thread into bile and hatred. 27 pages on this one showing how much nobody cares, mostly by people who are against the monarchy.

I think my favourite is Christian pete 'liking' all the snidey comments, enhancing my view that religious people are generally among the worst in society.

Bile and hatred? Get over yourself mate, just some people thinking that it's a bit over the top.

If anyone's showing their intolerance and anger here it's you.

My vote for the worst people in society are the current breed of forelock tugging Tory wankers who will happily see the poorest and weakest suffer whilst the rich get richer.

A fair proportion of the 'religious people' you clump together brainlessly and despise without thought are actively trying to make the world a better place for everyone, not just for themselves and their crony mates.

Fwiw, I watched pretty much the whole thing. It was a significant moment in British history regardless of one's opinion on the monarchy, and plenty on the left are just as patriotic as the right. But we want the whole country to thrive rather than just a few at the top.

Did anybody spot a soldier stand in horse shit? I was wondering if they would march round it or just have to go straight through if it happened.

I am the worst person you know cause I like snide comments wow bloody hell
I didn't say you were the worst person on here, I said religious types were oftem among the worst, hypocritically pretending to be all Christian and nice to everyone but underneath are no better than the rest of us, just a facade. A good example of being snidey on post 885 from PVA suggesting that Boris wanted the queen to have died a few days earlier under his tenure. Once again 'liked' by you, complete snidey remark, when nobody has any idea and I'd guess was closer to her than anyone posting on here. You're not alone, just less obvious than people like PVA, Duffer or CVD who sneer at the nasty Tories yet are clearly no better but get plenty of likes from this echo chamber. At least Ian and Tony who I rarely if ever agree with on non football topics, generally keep it respectful.
