Young Chelsea midfielder sacked for setting off a smoke bomb. But harsh IMO, considering they kept Ashley Cole on after he shot someone with an air rifle!

He's only 21 so suppose they think it's easier to sack a young inexperienced lad who's less likely to sue them for unfair dismissal etc.

Wonder if AT ever scouted him? Could get him on a free

Definately young, immature (surely 21 is too old to be thinking setting off a smoke bomb is funny) and very thick (just to repeat the word that seems popular).

But like Thornton I suppose (minus the fact that Mellis was on the books of a big club, pretty big in fact )
