Loan signing (1 Viewer)

Friend of mine who works in the casino spoke to Thorny earlier, first of all said "Are you going up Saturday?" to which Andy replied "yes, I think I'll be there". Secondly he asked about the chances of the loan signing arriving and Andy said "should be here next week, experienced midfielder not afraid to put his foot in"

Alan Smith rumours would seem to be true. Or it could be Carlton Palmer

Spoke to a Geordie mate, he said there's been nothing in their press about it. Also said Smith was a lazy so and so....I said that's ok, he'll fit in well with Bell-end and Stockport's finest in midfield.

Yes I think he was abit embarrassed about that question.

Sammy Ameobi is a winger/striker of about 20 years of age, and not a particularly keen tackler. Wouldn't seem to fit the mould of what was described.

But I bet he would be dying to come to a team joint bottom of the Championship with 2 wins in 17 and a midfield that's got less movement than the p1ssheads on the dancefloor in Club Release at 3am on a Saturday night.

He's just signed a 5 year deal, so unlikely to be told to come and feed off scraps here for a few months.

Well apparently, thorns got a choice of 4or5 younger players from newcastle to take on loan...?

A lad I know laughed when I said about Alan Smith and said good luck to us. To be honest I would take Robbie Savage right now :)

Who ever we take on will tear a hamstring, break ribs in the warm up and be out for 78 months and then the clowns in charge will give him a 5 year contract a week later at the age of 34 because were good like that. As long as I have a hole in my arse can I work out Bell and Baker being given extended contracts and other football club in the world wouldn't so why have we!? Even Sapp Blatter shook his head when he heard!

Injured, fucked up, idle, can't be bothered to lift a leg anymore or simply looking for a last pay day? Then come to Coventry City and let SISU take care of you.

it's just an horrendous shame that AT is confined (financially), to the ludicrous restrictions placed upon him,

what is even more dubious is the short sighted view exhibited by 'the board' or is it, as 'lb' said, 'the football expert 'kd' ?

to take a reasoned look at our predicament is scary,

'kd' & crew have, for all their time here, given it out, NO SPEND, & exist with what you've got, to AT, he in turn has done his best,

i do not consider that to survive in 'the championship' you would be able to do so on the meagre resources given to AT,

indeed i would proffer the idea that with a commensurate budget for this division, AT WOULD have us in a significantly higher position,

what would appear evident though is that 'they' are turning the screw,

it is not 'rocket science' to evaluate our owners success rate, popularity, or football acumen,

i think you'd get more fans to a forum in the ricoh, where 'kd' addresses the crowd to explain his thoughts /ideas, than you would to an average home game,

so far we CCFC have not brought anyone in, and the board I guess isn't supporting the Manager, that my thought.

SISU dont have a plan. There like kangaroos in a minefield jumping from one hot spot to another fire fighting. Even it appears to me that the people surrounding the orange one and SISU dont believe in this crisis management and are moving on.

I just understand why they want to go through this shit for another 7 months. It's going to turn nasty soon.

Even myself who wouldn't squash a fly wouldn't mind putting a half volley up his arse on Saturday when he turns up at the Ricoh as it appears that's wheres his brains are at the moment!:D

Perhaps we could have a boot K.D. up the arse competition. Winner gets two free tickets for the next home game?
