Are your rumours about investors take over put off by the chance that Coventry city might be in league 2 next year or are they not bothered

I think it's safe to say, there is no imminent investment, not that I think Malaka was
Telling porkies, he said himself the info was coming from someone who himself was
Hearing it second hand.
More a case of Chinese whispers, the putting of 2 and 2 together and making 5 and
Wishful thinking. IMO

I don't really care that somehow Malaka seems to have been misinformed, more curious as to the network that fed out the info.
Really want him to tell us the name /organisation that were allegedly involved though as it sounded like it could be better than Leicesters story.

If there is any substance behind this story wouldn't it make more sense now to see if the club is relegated and do a deal in the close season?

Looking at his photo he has more chins than the Beijing phone directory.

Hi Guys.
The buy out as far as I was informed was not from an individual or a consortium. The company was mentioned (by others) as I stated in the thread that I started.
I was told by who I considered to be party to information that was reliable and this was reinforced by someone else at The Crawley game. As far as I understood, money was to be invested within this transfer window, rightly or wrongly, I assumed that it would be on the back of a buy out. Although I am a businessman, I do not know if SISU were investing to up the value of the club or not. I do not know how these things work in corporate business.
If I told you who told me, you would understand why I was excited and why I cannot tell you where the rumour came from as it would destroy the people involved. So please respect that.
On my kids lives, I did not ever try to add anything to the story, I just relayed info that I was told and still believe that it was said to me in all honesty. I still hope that it is true.
Currently, I know nothing more than what I shared on this site. If and when I hear anything one way or the other I will let you guys know. I do not want to keep going back to my original thread as I was accused by someone of trying to keep the thread going.

I want to re-iterate:
  • I never said it was definitely going to happen
  • I have never said who was going to do it
  • I have never said if it does happen, when it would be
Like I said, I assumed rightly or wrongly, it would be done within the transfer window.
On the positive side, there is still some time, others are hearing little snippets, it has gone quite again where SISU are concerned, we aint going to the Butts, Slade is only short term (read into that what you want), I told Nick by PM that all the loanees were going before he posted it which turned out to be true (ask him), so my contacts were right again.
No one wants to be more right about the situation than me. I have supported this club since I was six (1968), the last thing I would do is wind people upon here that obviously love this club as much as I do. Only a complete arsehole would do that. I know that I am anonymous here, but I do pride myself on my honesty and integrity.
I have told Nick privately who my contacts were and who I was told was interested in buying us. Thanks for your integrity Nick. And if and when we are bought out you can all buy me that coffee and a season ticket.

Love to see Timmy Fisher in the stocks. Lining up to chuck medieval cabbages and sweet potatoes at the scumbag...
Ticket master would never be able to keep up with demand.
he deserves a harsher punishment than that, let's chip in and get him a season ticket for next season.
yeah, in the same block as Grendel and the Darby and Joan club, with no pies. :emoji_stuffed_flatbread:

Many thanks Malaka. Very good post.

As I said last night these Red Bull rumors seem to have something in them if nothing else. Malaka is saying it's a company and then he said it's about the council holding up the move or something so didn't we hear of a buyout of wasps and cov together with the Ricoh?

I think personally there is something in this based on nothing else perhaps other than Malaka is genuine as are his contacts. Have faith

Thanks for keeping us informed, I don't think any genuine poster thinks you're bullshitting us. Let's just hope that something is still happening.

Yep, as I've said before it was never posted as "this is happening" anyway it was always just something passed on and made clear as well.

The info about the playing side was always spot on as well ;)

Can also back up he isn't the type to want to make stuff up for attention either, so was just passing on what he heard and it was as honest as that!

@Malaka

Take no notice Chap, you did exactly what any one of us would have done in the same situation, heard information from a source you considered reliable and relayed what you'd heard without sugar coating the story, you told us what you knew and I applaud you for that.

Anyone giving you grief for the fact some massive buyout hasn't happened a month or so after you first posted it is an idiot.
