anybody do the London marathon at the weekend .. my friend from work finished 26th in the London marathon in 2hrs 29 minutes ..then caught the train straight back to rugby ,cycled up from the station then ran the crick run at rugby school in the afternoon (another 10.5 miles ) and actually won the race ..seen him today and all he said was he was a little bit sore ..

Just read an article on how much it costs to enter a marathon. I was shocked.
Don't even think of entering one in the USA.
Europe is a bit cheaper, but it's still a very expensive way to get foot blisters.

Cheaper then what I thought, I was going to enter the Birmingham Velo last year then seen the price tag, I can't remember exactly, but I seem to recall it was nearly £200.
