Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, checked thread titles and couldn't see it.

Unsurprisingly, we're not going to get any political assistance. An early day motion to bring the case into the house of commons failed with Hugh Robertson, Sports Minister saying he had no powers to influence private companies.

He did hope that our situation got resolved amicably so that's nice of him....

too be fair he did say its the rules of governance stopping him and if nothing else we could well be the catalyst that brings the FL setting its own rules tumbling down

And the leader of the FL is an Incester fan so what did you expect from him? like the rest of them no balls his club were the first ones to start this admin yet they get away with it and everyone else pays they change the rules then don't abide from them (bit like sisu really) So yep we are fooked

OK, let me break this down for you:

Otium - Private Company (not public)
Hugh Robertson - Sports Minister (Govt)

Govt (Hugh Robertson) cannot be seen to be influencing private companies (Otium).

Hope that clears things up.

I doubt this would be a good move anyway. Getting MP's involed would be like the blind leading the blind.

So many potential clowns in the world.
