Maddison - Meh!
Fleck - Meh!
Armstrong - Definitely miss him big time
Reda - Miss him? When did we ever have him? No real loss.
Martin - Liked him, but TM clearly doesn't.
Murphy - Yet another hit and miss.
Hopefully we can replace these with CONSISTENT performers, who will do the business week in week out and not be propped up on the treatment table.

I think thats something Mowbray will be looking at. Last season we had too many players that would be a 5/10 most weeks and then every tenth game play 9/10. If we have more players that are consistently at 7/10 we should do better.

Jacob Murphy and John Fleck being a case in point.
Murphy would do nothing at all for 5 games and then suddenly look like a world beater.
With Fleck it was a case of not being consistent within games, often disappearing as games wore on.

We've arguably already replaced fleck with gladzhev at the end of last season, murphy with Jones end of last season , and we've signed two strikers who may or may not give us as many goals as Armstrong. So what you're saying is we need a couple of nasty centre halves and a midfielder or two.

Defence is a worry after yesterdays showing... The Boro'or to be PC about it Nuneaton Town carved us open a few times too easily so unless Mr TM is blind I would think they would make that a priority

i was quite impressed by the young guns who played v nun'ton town, a huge plus for CCFC to produce decent players in numbers
