Most on here seemed to think the trialist was good but Robins seems to think otherwise.

It's because people see a last ditch tackle, for example, and think it's great. Whereas a manager might see it as something that was unnecessary and down to poor positioning in the first place.

Pretty sure Stevenson will come again.
May be elsewhere though.
Has he stalled or did the spell out of the team harm him.
Then all the interest around potential move back in January.
Promising player IMO.

Yes, he's still very young and has hardly played. I hope we keep hold of him as he's got a lot about him.

Not sure-alarm bells for me if you can't make the first X1 in a L2 team.

He didn't really need to do any last ditch tackles or anything like that. He was pretty composed on the ball and played a couple of good diagonal passes too.

He didn't get anywhere near corners offensively though.

I see it as a sign of improvement in CM, we were pinning our hopes on him last year. This year he isn't really standing out in the reserves.

I put 'for example' in italics for a reason Nick.

I doubt his motivation is the same now running around non league grounds compared to last season at the Ricoh, then the speculation, but yeah you could well be right.
Needs to get his head down and build again.
Was he on a four year deal like Harries?

I know, missed that. It is early ;)

He didn't really do too much wrong, but I guess it depends on what Robins was looking for. Robins might have wanted a monster who will just physically assault strikers, he reminded me more of Harries.

Yeah he is contracted until 2020.
