All,
It's about time someone took the bull by the horns...

For the question on putting a representative on the board, SISU/SISU investors are not part of the club

Also, after a little bit of preliminary investigation, I notice that the "venture" (for want of a better word) will probably need to be authorised by the FSA
http://www.fsa.gov.uk/doing/do

Does anyone know a solicitor who will swap some time for free advertising?

In addition, a bank/building society will also need to be involved. Does anyone work at Cov BS?

Proposed Strategy:
1) Find out if there's enough of an appetite for the investment
2) incorporate the "investment fund"/"social enterprise"
3) develop website to manage the uptake process and obtain authorisation from the FSA
4) depending on uptake, negotiate with SISU regarding the purchase of CCFC or join Hoffmans' group of investors on the provision that one of the trustees of the fund (which will be voted upon) will join the board of CCFC
5) trustees job is to ensure that communication with fans is built upon and maintained, and to ensure that if the Ricoh is bought by the club, it is not mortgaged, or threatened by any actions that future owners of CCFC want to do.

Let me know your thoughts and if there are any volunteers to help with the process
