This is my X1 from the promotion winning team of 66/67 with 2 players I'd put in from the one who got us up this season.
Glazier
Kearns
Bruck
Farmer
Curtis
Machin
Doyle
Ian Gibson
Gould
McNulty
Rees
Obviously only older fans would know of the players I've chosen apart from Doyle and McNulty. But choose your favourite City X1 from the years you've been watching the club, but you have to add at least one player from the current squad.

Okay.

GK Glazier - For sure. Best keeper we ever had.

RB Nilsson
CB Curtis
CB Peake
LB Pearce

RM Not so sure on the right midfield. We have always seemingly been stronger on the left for some reason. Need to have a long think.

CM Strachan
CM Steve Hunt

LM Hutchison

CF Dublin
CF McNulty

(4-4-2)

Dann
Warnock
Henderson
Gunnarsson
Fleck
McSheffrey
Wilson
King

Bench:
Murphy
Fox
Shaw
Doyle
Jodi Jones (this season)

Ok here`s mine also pretty much off the top of my nut too in 4-4-2.
Bill Glazier
Graham Oakey Trevor Peake Gary Gillespie Bobby McDonald
Ron Rees Denis Mortimer Willie Carr Tommy Hutchison
Dion Dublin Marc McNulty
I know Rees played mostly on the left but he was equally at home on the right. Graham Oakey? I just loved the way he played, such a tragedy his career was cut short.

I think, it is tough a few others in contention. From Current squad McNulty squad number about 32 or Bayliss in youth team (certainly has the potential)

Surprised to see some of these names in there ahead of Gary McAllister.
Agree, a large number of our fanbase don't seem to appreciate what a great player he was.

A team with steel and toughness, skill, and with loads of goals in it.

Ronnie Rees comfortable down either flank.
The two Daves, Bennett and Thompson .
Few of the posts, not this one are confusing.
Is it Don Hutchinson who was a good player or the legend that is Tommy Hutchison?

For what its worth here's mine

GK- Oggy

RB- Borrows
CB- Konjic
CB- Breen
LB- Fox

LM- Salako
CM- McAllister
CM- Hadji
RM- Thompson

CF- Dublin
CF- Huckerby

Harder then I thought.

Loads of others could have got in, Hedman, Nilsson, Dann, Shaw, Isaias, Chippo, Froggatt, Safri, Doyle, Keane, Whelan, McGoldrick.

Other horrific thoughts that flashed through my mind, Richardson, Engonga, Lightbourne, Howarth

Bloody hell, I actually typed Hutchison but predictive text changed it to Hutchinson.

I obviously meant Don.

I will plump for Bennett for wide right. I was too young to remember Rees.
