I’m glad you’re not a refThis ref needs to be struck off - never a red card

Not won at Wembley since 1925.It does, it means in 9 goes they’ve bottled it
Bristol manager saying they requested not to have this referee...
Is it true Sunderland have employed nonces in the past?Or maybe it's not. Maybe it's about time I had a bit of a rummage around and see what other unsubstantiated rubbish you are writing about Sunderland?
You've been caught out again on this board making wild unsubstantiated statements about Sunderland.
another one was about our fans seemingly slagging coventry off.
I've had a look online and can find nothing but a load of very respectful comments about Coventry City, the club, the team and its fans.
Instead of having a load of pre conceived ideas about SAFC why not check them out before you post?
Same armchair fans making the same mistakes week in week out. Both calls were correctSame ref making the same mistake week in week out
Exactly, no matter how good they are that’s always around your neckNot won at Wembley since 1925.
Let's hope so, 1925 last time they won there.Records are also there that Don’t get broken, keep it positive mate, it’ll be 10 times in a couple of weeks![]()
How many millions of times do we have to tell you not to exaggerate? Most blatant red ever
And if they were refs they would have said it’s a redTo be fair the sky panel are all forwards, I guarantee if they were a defenders they would have said it should have been a yellow.
“Accidental” is not part of the law. It has to be an “attempt to play the ball” if accidental came into it Da Silva would have a good case for appealNo, the rule states that the action from the defending player has to be deemed as accidental to avoid a red.
Do we?Do Sheff Utd really want to go back to the Premier League to be humiliated 6-0, 7-0 8-0 week in and out?
Hope we can find out.Do we?
Me too. But I’ll be over it in a few hours if we don’t. I like the championship gamesHope we can find out.
If it's a painful ending for us on pens like the last time, it will take me more than a few hours to get over it.Me too. But I’ll be over it in a few hours if we don’t. I like the championship games
Not a particular stone we want to be throwing given the ongoing situation with our (former) drummer. Is it true Sunderland have employed nonces in the past?
its hyperboleHow many millions of times do we have to tell you not to exaggerate?
And don't mention throwing shit eitherNot a particular stone we want to be throwing given the ongoing situation with our (former) drummer.
Hamer set it up, why would he be fuming
He’s obviously disappointed, but he can have no complaints about the decision.Just watched the interview. He’s 100% getting fined, calls it a ‘shocking’ decision several times, says it’s a huge mistake and references it changing the game a lot too.
He also cites previous mistakes made by that ref (including mentioning our game v Luton!) as to why they didn’t want him to ref today as he ‘knew it would happen’.
It’s actually a pretty composed interview but lots of overt criticism of the ref. I mean fair play, but fine incoming!
Exactly we can’t afford to look too far ahead. One step at a time.Don't like all this talk of beating them or not at Wembley.
Sunderland first lads.
Oh yea. Forgot themDon't like all this talk of beating them or not at Wembley.
Sunderland first lads.
Pressure is on Sunderland pal you've been in the playoffs most of the season and will unlikely have another season as good as this one.We would of been happy staying up and going again next season but we sneaked in.Will be a good encounter over the two legs we needs a few goals head start, but to be fair I don't want to go Wembley again ole ole and lose to Sheffield United as they are better than both of us.There is no pressure on Sunderland. We are making up the numbers in the play offs. Coventry City are the overwhelming favourites here and you are expected to win handsomely - home and away. We're along for the ride.
Never has there been such little expectation on Sunderland.
We will hopefully make a little bit of money and God knows we could do with it.
It's a football fans forum, what else would you expect.Interesting b being on this board for a few days because you dont half make some wild unsubstantiated statements.
We’re were well in the home game 11v11 and should’ve won it v10.
At the end of the day it’s a one off game, anything could happen.
It is with lati, binks and Collins in the team, and no Manager,We were 2 nil down within half an hour in the home game. Thats hardly well in it
The terminology used states “non-deliberate” probably should’ve gone word for word.“Accidental” is not part of the law. It has to be an “attempt to play the ball” if accidental came into it Da Silva would have a good case for appeal
A reasonable question, but he got everything spot on last night including 2 highly contentious decisions.Regardless of the decision, how did that ref get a play off semi? He's fucking awful. Surely play off games should get the elite refs (if we even have any in this country.) Surprised we didn't end up with that useless tosser Sam Allison for ours.
